Does the Two Trees Bluer Plus 3D printer work with SimplyPrint, OctoPrint, Mainsail and Fluidd?
Each way of connecting it, what it needs, and how to set it up.
Ships Marlin (MKS Robin Nano V1.2); Klipper only after you install it.

What slicer to use for the Two Trees Bluer Plus
None of the slicers in SimplyPrint's cloud has a ready-made profile for the Two Trees Bluer Plus, but it takes standard G-code: start from a similar printer's profile and set the bed size, height and nozzle to match.
We only list slicers you can use in the SimplyPrint cloud, so there may be others for the Two Trees Bluer Plus.
Cloud-Based Slicer for Two Trees Bluer Plus
All supported slicers - directly in your browser with SimplyPrint's online cloud slicer. No installation required. Slice your Two Trees Bluer Plus models from any device, anywhere in the world!
Automatic Profile Updates: Profiles are automatically checked and fetched from the slicer GitHub repositories every day, as well as from our own open-source community-driven slicer profile database. This ensures you always have access to the latest profiles.
Note: Other slicers, such as Simplify3D, ideaMaker, SuperSlicer and KISSlicer, aren't in our cloud, so we don't track their profiles. They may still work well with your Two Trees Bluer Plus: check the slicer's own documentation or forums for a profile. You can also contribute profiles to our open-source slicer profile database on GitHub.
The app for the Two Trees Bluer Plus
SimplyPrint works as the Two Trees Bluer Plus's app: on your phone and in any browser, with a slicer in the cloud.
There's no plate swapper or auto-ejection kit for the Two Trees Bluer Plus in SimplyPrint yet, but AutoPrint can still keep it printing: once the plate is clear, it starts the next job from your queue.
Bed slingers are the easiest to automate
The Two Trees Bluer Plus moves its bed back and forth, so its plate comes out to the front of the printer. That's what plate swappers like these use: they take the finished plate off and slide a fresh one on. Without a kit, a G-code routine can push cooled prints off with the toolhead.

What filament can the Two Trees Bluer Plus print?
Filament compatibility for the Two Trees Bluer Plus: the materials it can handle, judged from its hotend, bed, chamber and enclosure.
Filament
Suitability
Notes
PLA
Great
The easiest filament to print. Works on almost any printer; a heated bed helps adhesion but is not required.
PETG
Great
Comfortably in range (PETG likes a ~230-250C hotend and a ~70-85C bed).
TPU & flexibles
With care
Possible, but a Bowden extruder makes flexibles harder - print slowly and prefer firmer (higher-shore) TPU.
ABS & ASA
With care
The bed is hot enough, but ABS and ASA warp without an enclosure, which is strongly recommended for clean prints.
Nylon (PA)
With care
Possible with care - an enclosure and very dry filament are essential.
Polycarbonate (PC)
Not ideal
Not recommended - PC needs very high hotend temps and an enclosed chamber.
Carbon-fiber & glass-filled
With care
Possible if you fit a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle - the abrasive fibers quickly wear a stock brass nozzle.
Tip: this is a general guide from the printer's specs - always check your filament's recommended settings. With SimplyPrint you can save a profile for each spool and track exactly what filament you have in stock.

Two Trees (TwoTrees) is a Shenzhen maker of desktop fabrication machines, founded in 2017. It built budget 3D printers from 2018 (the Sapphire Pro and Sapphire Plus, and the Bluer) and launched the SK1, a Klipper-based CoreXY printer, at the end of 2023. By October 2026 its own stores sell CNC routers and laser engravers; the 3D printer section lists no printers, and only spare parts for the SK1 remain. Its printers were bought mostly by hobbyists who like to tinker.
Open in practice: the SK1 runs stock Klipper with no cloud, and the older printers ran Marlin. The weak spot is support rather than lock-in: Two Trees has moved on to CNC and laser machines, documentation is thin and some SK1 parts are hard to find.
Firmware and custom firmware ●●●●●
Tom's Hardware found the SK1 runs unmodified ('vanilla') Klipper, which is open source and replaceable. For the older Sapphire printers, a GitHub account named TwoTrees-china published Marlin 2.0 source for their MKS Robin Nano board in 2020 (not updated since), and upstream Klipper ships configs for the Sapphire Pro and Sapphire Plus.
[7][9][10]
Local control and integrations ●●●●●
Tom's Hardware found the SK1 runs vanilla Klipper: files and settings are reachable from a computer on the home network, files can also go by USB stick, and there is no cloud or phone app to use. Klipper's standard web stack, Moonraker, documents its API, so other software can control the printer locally.
[7][16]
Third-party filament, slicers and parts ●●●●●
Any 1.75 mm filament and any slicer (Cura and PrusaSlicer profiles come on the SK1's USB stick). But the SK1's hotend copies Bambu Lab's design with a small separate nozzle, which Tom's Hardware found hard to source.
[7]
Repairs and spare parts ●●●●●
Two Trees' store still sells SK1 parts: mainboard, heated bed, touchscreen, fans, PEI plate and power adapter, and it published a printable SK1 extruder kit on GitHub. Tom's Hardware found nozzles and hotends hard to find, and we found none listed in the store.
[11][12][13][8][7]
Community and documentation ●●●●●
Tom's Hardware called the SK1's documentation sparse. Two Trees has a wiki and a download page, now centred on its CNC and laser machines; beyond that, owners rely on upstream projects such as Klipper.
[7][14][15]
Pros
The SK1 runs stock Klipper: control it from a browser on your own network, with no account or cloud.
Open-source firmware, so the SK1 can be modified and tuned freely.
Common SK1 spare parts (mainboard, heated bed, touchscreen, fans) are still sold by Two Trees.
Works with any 1.75 mm filament and any slicer; Cura and PrusaSlicer profiles are included.
Cons
Two Trees no longer lists any 3D printer in its own stores; it now focuses on CNC routers and laser engravers.
Sparse documentation for the SK1, per Tom's Hardware.
The SK1's Bambu-style hotend and nozzle are hard to source.
Tom's Hardware found typos and wrong-language menus on the SK1 touchscreen.
Track record
February 2026: By February 2026 the 3D printer page of Two Trees' US store listed no products; in October 2025 it still showed the SK1 (Internet Archive captures). In October 2026 the store sells CNC routers and lasers, plus SK1 spare parts.
[5][6][4]
October 2024: Two Trees published a redesigned SK1 extruder kit (filament cutter, consumable detection) on GitHub under GPL-3.0, with firmware and printable STL files.
[8]
2023: Two Trees introduced the SK1, its first high-speed CoreXY printer, at the end of 2023.
