One AutoPrint method, a full stack of hands-free prints

JobOx ejects the entire finished plate and loads a fresh blank one from a stack, so SimplyPrint can run the next queued job without anyone touching the printer. Pick JobOx as your AutoPrint clearing method, set how many plates are in the stack, and queue your jobs - the fleet does the rest.

What is the JobOx clearing method?

JobOx is a physical plate-swapping hardware mod for desktop 3D printers, and a popular, fully supported plate changer in SimplyPrint.

Instead of pushing a finished part off the bed, JobOx swaps out the entire print plate for a fresh one after each print, drawing from a finite stack of plates. The printer keeps going, plate after plate, until the stack is empty.

In SimplyPrint this is a cycle-dependent clearing method: because the stack holds a fixed number of plates, you tell AutoPrint how many cycles to run so it stops automatically once the stack runs out, rather than dropping prints onto an occupied bed.

How JobOx works with AutoPrint

Set it up once in SimplyPrint and your printer runs through the whole plate stack on its own.

Connect and enable AutoPrint

Add your Prusa or Bambu Lab A1 to SimplyPrint as usual, then turn on AutoPrint for that printer.

Pick JobOx and set max plates

Choose JobOx as the clearing method and set the max plate/cycle count (default 3) to match how many plates are in your stack.

Queue jobs and walk away

Add jobs to the print queue. AutoPrint starts each one, swaps the plate when it finishes, and stops when the stack is empty.

Plate swap

JobOx lifts the finished plate clear and loads a fresh one before the next job starts.

Plate stack

A finite stack of plates feeds the changer. The number of plates is your unattended run length.

Frequently asked questions

JobOx works with the Prusa MK3S and MK3S+, Prusa MK4 and MK4S, Prusa Mini and Mini+, and the Bambu Lab A1. SimplyPrint can drive AutoPrint with JobOx on any of these.
JobOx pulls from a finite stack of plates, so the printer runs unattended for as many prints as you have plates in the stack. In SimplyPrint you set a max plate/cycle count (default 3) so AutoPrint stops once the stack is empty instead of printing onto an occupied bed.
Yes - JobOx is a physical hardware mod you buy from JobOx at jobox.tech. The JobOx clearing method inside AutoPrint is free; use code simplyprint at checkout for a discount on the hardware.
Manual clearing means someone has to be there to remove each finished part before the next job can start. JobOx swaps the whole plate automatically, so SimplyPrint can start the next queued job right away and keep the printer busy through the entire stack.
Yes. AutoPrint pulls jobs straight from your SimplyPrint print queue. With JobOx selected, it starts a job, swaps the plate when it finishes, and starts the next queued job, repeating until the queue is empty or the plate stack runs out.
