SimplyPrint has been used to manage real 3D printing operations since 2020. It is enterprise 3D printer fleet management software for organizations that need one governed workflow across mixed-brand FDM printers, users and sites.

Multi-location management

One identity system. The right people in the right locations.

Run offices, labs, factories and campuses as distinct locations inside one Enterprise organisation. Local teams keep the printers and workflows they need, while central administrators keep group-wide identity, oversight and commercial control.

One organisation, distinct sites

Each location keeps its own printers, files, members and local settings. Main organisation administrators can switch between locations and administer the whole group.

Shared SAML or OIDC

Connect the main organisation's identity provider once and use it across locations. A location can still use its own SSO provider where local policy requires it.

Attribute-based location routing

Map values from one SAML attribute or OIDC claim to each location. At sign-in, users are routed to one or more matching locations instead of being sorted by hand.

Central plan, flexible billing

Pool printer and user capacity across locations with consolidated billing, or connect a location to its own Enterprise subscription while keeping central management and SSO.

If a person belongs in several locations, show a location selector or automatically join every matched location. Default user groups can also be matched per location.

Enterprise industries

One platform, adapted to the way your industry operates

The governance foundation stays the same. The printer workflow, deployment questions and systems around it change by operating environment.

Deployment options

Start in the managed cloud, or bring your infrastructure requirements

The hosted Enterprise plan is available through self-serve signup. If policy requires customer-controlled infrastructure, on-premise deployment is scoped as a custom Enterprise engagement with your IT and security teams.

Who this is for

3D printing is one part of your operation. Keep it that way.

You're not running a print farm that ships products to customers. You're a large organization where additive manufacturing supports the real work - and IT still has to answer for every tool on the network. SimplyPrint lets IT say yes: every printer accounted for, every security-relevant action logged, nothing to install on employee machines - and 3D printing never becomes its own project.

Large-format industrial 3D printers on a production floor

Rapid prototyping

R&D and engineering teams iterate in-house instead of waiting on a service bureau. Engineers submit to a shared queue; jobs are tracked per user and per project.

Spare parts & tooling

Print replacement parts, jigs and fixtures for your own equipment, on site and on demand - with a record of what was printed, by whom, and what it cost.

Offices & facilities

Printers spread across offices, labs and workshops still belong in one account - grouped by building or site, visible to IT, governed by the same rules.

Compliance & control

Built to pass your IT review

The security questionnaire usually arrives before the conversation does. These are the answers, ready in the product - not on a roadmap.

Single sign-on

SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect: Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta, Keycloak, Auth0 and any standards-compliant provider. SCIM provisioning included, and IdP groups map to SimplyPrint user groups automatically.

Enforced 2FA

Require two-factor authentication for every member. Anyone without it is locked out of the panel until they enrol - account owners stay exempt so nobody locks themselves out.

IP allow-list & approved devices

Restrict access by IP or CIDR range, require approved devices, or combine both (either-or, or both required). Choose exactly what gets blocked off-network, from the whole panel down to just the camera feeds.

Full audit log with export

Every security-relevant action in the account: who did what, when, and from which IP. Filter by user, category or date range, and export it for compliance reviews.

DPA signing

Sign a data processing agreement inside the product - no email back-and-forth. Custom DPAs for bespoke requirements via [email protected].

99.9% uptime SLA

A contractual 99.9% monthly uptime commitment on the web dashboard and API, with service credits if we miss it. Uptime is tracked publicly on our status page.

Integrations & automation

The governed layer between your printers and the rest of your stack

SimplyPrint sits between your fleet and everything else you run. Job, usage and cost data flows into your ERP, MES, ticketing, BI and chat over an open REST API and real-time webhooks - and every connection stays scoped, logged and revocable by IT.

Not another silo. The layer between them.

Most tools want to be the center of your operation. SimplyPrint does the opposite. It's the neutral layer that connects your printers to the systems that actually run the business, so 3D printing never becomes something IT has to babysit on the side.

For a team evaluating hundreds of industrial printers, "will it talk to our MES?" is a gating question, not a nice-to-have. The answer here is an open REST API, real-time webhooks and an MCP server for AI assistants - all documented, and built to be connected to. Build it in code, or wire it up no-code with n8n, Activepieces or Zapier - same governance either way.

Wherever your data needs to go

ERP & MES

Push jobs into the print queue from your ERP or MES, and get a real-time event back the moment each one starts, finishes or fails - no polling, so production systems always know the state of the floor.

Ticketing & ITSM

Turn a printer error into a ticket in your ITSM automatically, and close the loop when maintenance marks it fixed. Nobody re-typing status between tools.

BI & data warehouse

Stream print, usage and cost data into your warehouse or BI tool for utilisation dashboards and department chargeback - without a single manual export.

Chat & operations

Post to Slack or Teams when a critical print finishes or a printer needs attention, so the team hears about it where they already work.

Identity & SCIM

Users arrive from Microsoft Entra ID or Okta already in the right group through SCIM, and lose access the moment IT deprovisions them.

No-code automation

Build workflows in n8n, Activepieces or Zapier against the same API - and run n8n or Activepieces on your own infrastructure so data never leaves your network.

AI assistants

Let ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini CLI query and drive the fleet through the MCP server - ask "which printers are idle right now?" in plain language - each with a scoped, revocable token instead of a shared password.

Custom code

A documented REST API, real-time webhooks and OAuth2 scopes - build exactly the integration your process needs, or hand your systems integrator the docs.

Every connection, under your governance

Open does not mean ungoverned. The same controls that pass your IT review apply to everything you connect.

Scoped

OAuth2 least-privilege scopes and 170+ granular permissions - each connection gets only what you grant it.

Logged

Security-relevant changes land in the same audit log as everything else: who or what, when, and from which IP - exportable for review.

Revocable

Revoke any app or assistant the instant you need to, from Connected apps in account settings. No key-rotation fire drill.

Self-hostable

Run n8n or Activepieces on your own infrastructure, so sensitive workflow data never leaves your network.

Organisation management

Every user in the right group, automatically

Build user groups with exactly the rights they need - 170+ granular permissions cover everything from who may start a print to who may change slicer profiles. Map your identity provider's groups to SimplyPrint groups once, and SSO puts every new user in the right place on first sign-in.

Contractors and visitors get temporary access that expires on a date you set. Quotas cap usage per user or group, and per-user statistics give you the numbers for internal chargeback: jobs, print time, material used, cost.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Create separate locations for offices, labs, factories or campuses under one Enterprise organisation. The main organisation's SAML or OIDC connection can serve them all, and values from a configured identity-provider attribute or claim can route each person into one or more matching locations at sign-in. Multi-location users can choose a location or automatically join every match. Locations keep their printers, files, members and local settings separate, while central administrators can switch across the group. Printer and user capacity can be pooled under consolidated billing, or a location can use its own connected Enterprise subscription.
Yes. SimplyPrint supports single sign-on via SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect, including Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta, Keycloak, Auth0 and any standards-compliant identity provider, plus SCIM provisioning. Groups from your IdP can map to SimplyPrint user groups so new users land with the right permissions on first sign-in. More on SSO.
Yes. On the Enterprise plan you can sign a DPA directly inside the product, under Settings → Data & security. If your legal team needs a custom agreement, email [email protected]. SimplyPrint is an EU (Danish) company and GDPR applies to us natively - see certifications & standards.
Yes. Enterprise customers get a contractual 99.9% monthly uptime commitment on the web dashboard and API, with service credits if we fall short. Uptime is tracked publicly at status.simplyprint.io. Read the full service level agreement.
Managed-service data is stored in EU data centres. Enterprise teams worldwide can review our security practices and privacy policy, use the managed cloud, or discuss customer-controlled infrastructure when policy requires it.
Yes to both. The audit log records every security-relevant action in the account - who did what, when, and from which IP address - and is filterable by user, category, action and date range. You can export it for compliance reviews and evidence requests.
Yes. Set an IP allow-list (single IPs or CIDR ranges, IPv4 and IPv6), require approved devices, or combine both - either one is enough, or both required, your choice. You also choose what gets blocked off-network: everything, just starting prints, print actions, or camera feeds. Owners are always exempt, so you can never lock yourself out.
Yes. Enterprise accounts can enforce 2FA organisation-wide: members without it are locked out of the panel until they enrol. Account owners are exempt from the lockout to prevent losing access to your own account.
Yes. The REST API and webhooks are built for it: push jobs into the print queue from your ERP or MES, and get an event back when each job starts, finishes or fails. Teams that prefer no-code run n8n or Activepieces (both self-hostable) against the same API, and OAuth2 scoping keeps every connection least-privilege. Start at the developer hub.
Self-hosting is available to select Enterprise customers, subject to a technical and commercial agreement. The managed cloud remains the simplest path for most organisations and is available through self-serve signup. Where policy requires self-hosting, we scope infrastructure, network boundaries, updates and support with your IT and security teams. See the on-premise deployment option.
