Fit printer operations into the factory stack
The standard managed-cloud service exposes a REST API, webhooks and scoped integrations. Self-hosting can be scoped for select Enterprise customers whose infrastructure policy requires it, subject to a technical and commercial agreement covering architecture, updates and support. SimplyPrint is the control layer for connected printer fleets. It is not a replacement for an MES, ERP, PLM, QMS or industrial process-qualification system.

What is 3D printing software for manufacturing?
It is software for coordinating printer fleets, operators and jobs used in manufacturing. SimplyPrint covers the connected-printer workflow for supported FDM/FFF printers: queues, slicing profiles, monitoring, maintenance, users, usage and cost records, APIs and webhooks. Resin, powder, metal and other non-FDM equipment can be logged as virtual machines, but not connected or controlled.
Is SimplyPrint additive manufacturing workflow software?
Yes for the operational workflow around supported connected printers: requests, queues, assignments, monitoring, maintenance and job records. It is not a full MES, PLM, QMS or process-qualification suite, so released production orders and quality approvals stay in the appropriate system of record.
Can SimplyPrint connect to our ERP or MES?
Yes. Use the REST API and real-time webhooks to submit work, respond to job events and move usage or cost data into surrounding systems. The exact integration is built by your team or integration partner against the documented interfaces.
Can one platform manage printers across manufacturing sites?
Yes. Manage printers from 130+ supported brands and 610+ models, group them by facility, building, department or team, then apply permissions and organisation-wide security controls.
Does SimplyPrint support robotics and consumer-goods workflows?
Yes. Robotics and consumer-goods teams can use the same shared queue, mixed-fleet control, cost tracking and maintenance workflow for prototypes, fixtures, grippers, mounts, packaging checks and other internally approved work.
Can manufacturing organisations self-host SimplyPrint?
It is available to select Enterprise customers, subject to a technical and commercial agreement. The managed cloud is the standard service. Self-hosted architecture, network boundaries, updates and support are scoped with your IT team.
Can we manage multiple locations with one SSO setup?
Yes. Locations keep their own printers, files, members and local settings, while the main organisation's SAML or OIDC provider can serve the group. Map accepted values from one identity-provider attribute or claim to each location and users can be routed into one or more matches at sign-in. Multi-location users can choose a location or automatically join every match, and a location can use its own SSO provider where policy requires it.
