Important Notice

These terms are supplementary to SimplyPrint’s general Terms of Service. By participating in the Affiliate Program or Refer A Friend Program, you also agree to adhere to our general terms.

1. Introduction

By participating in the SimplyPrint Affiliate Program or Refer A Friend Program (collectively referred to as the "Program"), you ("Affiliate") agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms supplement the existing SimplyPrint Terms of Service and apply to both the general Refer a Friend tier and the official Affiliate Program tier. Approval by SimplyPrint is required for participation in the Affiliate Program.

2. Eligibility

• Participants must be 18 years or older to enroll in the Program.

3. Program Tiers

• Refer A Friend Tier: Open to all users. Rewards include free items that can be unlocked by default. Offsetting the user’s SimplyPrint subscription is possible but only upon approval by SimplyPrint.
• Affiliate Program Tier: Requires approval. Offers payouts (via PayPal only) and access to exclusive marketing resources.

4. Enrollment and Approval

• Enrollment in the Affiliate Program requires application through the SimplyPrint portal. Approval is at SimplyPrint's discretion.
• SimplyPrint reserves the right to reject any application or terminate program access for any reason, with or without cause.

5. Affiliate Responsibilities

• Affiliates must use ethical marketing practices and avoid any actions that harm SimplyPrint's reputation, including disparaging competitors.
• Affiliates are prohibited from creating fake accounts to manipulate stats.
• Affiliates must comply with SimplyPrint’s Trademark Rules and Branding Guidelines. SimplyPrint branding may be used but must not be altered, modified, or distorted.
• Affiliates are not allowed to gather personal information, such as email addresses, from referred users before directing them to the affiliate link.
• Referred users resulting in a commission for the affiliate will remain anonymous to the affiliate.

6. Marketing and Promotion

• Affiliates may use their unique affiliate links on approved platforms such as blogs, websites, and social media.
• Paid advertising for affiliate links requires prior written approval from SimplyPrint.
• Affiliates may not bid on SimplyPrint-branded search terms.
• Bidding on branded keywords which include “SimplyPrint” and/or “simply print” for ads is strictly prohibited.

7. Rewards and Payouts

Refer A Friend Rewards

• By default, rewards include free items that can be unlocked. Offsetting the user’s SimplyPrint subscription is possible but only upon approval by SimplyPrint.
• Rewards can change at any time without notice.
• Addon rewards, e.g., extra storage, extra printers, AI detection hours, etc., are added to the affiliate account.

Notes about specific rewards:

• Extra GB (storage space): Only applies to the main user / owner of an account; if multiple users are a part of your account, only the owner will benefit from the "Extra GB" reward(s). If the user is part of multiple accounts/organizations, their personal storage will be the highest amount among the accounts. If one account has 100 GB storage and the user's own account has less, the extra GB will be added to the user's own account. If this does not exceed the highest storage amount of the accounts they are a member of, it will only apply to the given organization (e.g., for print queue storage & other account-specific, non-user-specific items).

Reward Requirements

Each reward in the Refer a Friend program is unlocked by referring a specific number of people. Some rewards may also require the referred user to add a minimum number of printers.

Approved affiliates - who receive commissions for referrals - are not eligible to receive rewards.

The "School" SimplyPrint plan is currently also not eligible for rewards.

Printer Requirements

• The printer must be connected to the SimplyPrint platform.
• The printer must have been online at least once.
• Deleted printers do not count.
• SimplyPrint may use data such as MAC and IP addresses to ensure the same printer is not counted twice.

If a referred user deletes their printer, it will not count towards future rewards, even if it previously helped unlock a reward. This ensures that rewards are not abused by fake printers and that referred users are actively using SimplyPrint.

Minimum Payout Amounts

• The current minimum balance required for payouts is as follows:
  • DKK: 50
  • USD: 10
  • EUR: 10
  • CAD: 20
  • GBP: 10
• These amounts may change without prior notice.

Payout Methods

• Payouts are currently made via PayPal. Additional payout methods, such as bank transfers, may be introduced in the future without prior notice.

Taxes, VAT, and Operational Costs

• Commissions are based on the net purchase amount, excluding VAT. VAT is not included in the calculation of affiliate commissions.
• The recipient bears any associated fees for the chosen payout method, such as PayPal fees.
• Payment method fees applied by SimplyPrint are considered operational costs and are not part of the commission calculation.
• Local taxes may apply as per the "Taxes and VAT" section of the SimplyPrint Terms of Service.

Payout Schedule

• Payouts are processed every 14 days by default. Adjustments to the payout schedule may be made upon agreement with SimplyPrint.
• Payout currency aligns with the affiliate’s SimplyPrint account, with currency conversions based on rates from the Danish National Bank (updated within 24 hours).

8. Commission Structure

• Commissions are based on eligible purchases within 30 days of a referral link click.
• Commissions exclude non-eligible add-ons (e.g., AI Detection). If mixed items are purchased, commission applies only to eligible items.
• Revenue-sharing affiliates (e.g., plugin developers) are excluded from earning commission on their own sales.
• Commissions are calculated 30 days post-purchase to account for refunds or disputes.
• If a refund occurs after payout, SimplyPrint may deduct the commission from future payouts.
• Commission ownership of referred customers lasts 16 months unless otherwise specified.
• Partner program invoices are not eligible for commission. The partner program allows partners to manage and pay for multiple accounts, where the partner receives one invoice per month. Partners do not qualify for the affiliate program, nor do the accounts created and managed by the partner.

9. Cookie Policy

• Affiliate tracking cookies have a 30-day duration.
• SimplyPrint operates on a "last click" credit policy.

10. Abuse and Fraud Prevention

• Creating multiple accounts or reusing the same printer to boost referral or affiliate stats is strictly prohibited.
• SimplyPrint reserves the right to investigate and take action against any suspicious activity, including bans and the retroactive revocation of rewards or payouts obtained unlawfully.
• Any attempts to manipulate referrals or falsely inflate program metrics may result in immediate termination from the Program and potential legal consequences.

11. Termination

• SimplyPrint may terminate program access and disable affiliate links at any time. Valid balances will be paid out upon termination.

12. Marketing Materials and Customization

• Approved affiliates gain access to SimplyPrint marketing resources.
• Custom landing pages and testimonials require prior approval. Affiliates may request removal of their landing page at any time.

13. Data Privacy

• Affiliates are not allowed to gather personal information, such as email addresses, from referred users before directing them to the affiliate link.
• Referred users resulting in a commission for the affiliate will remain anonymous to the affiliate.

14. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes regarding commissions, program participation, or payouts will be reviewed and resolved by SimplyPrint at its sole discretion.
• Affiliates agree to raise disputes in writing and allow at least 30 days for resolution.

15. Program Changes Notification

• SimplyPrint reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the affiliate portal or email.

16. Invite / refer by Email

The "Invite by Email" feature, available through the SimplyPrint Refer A Friend and Affiliate dashboard, is intended solely for inviting people you personally know. You must not use this feature to send unsolicited or bulk messages to individuals you do not have a prior relationship with. Abuse of this feature may result in immediate termination from the program and potentially a full ban from the SimplyPrint platform.

When using this feature, the referral email will include your name and set your email address as the reply-to. By using this feature, you consent to this disclosure.

17. FAQ

• Who can join the program?
  • Anyone 18 years or older can join the Refer A Friend tier. The Affiliate Program requires approval.
• What rewards can I earn?
  • Refer A Friend participants can unlock free items by default, with subscription offsets possible upon approval. Affiliates can earn commissions via PayPal payouts.
• When are payouts made?
  • Payouts are made every 14 days, provided the minimum balance is met.
• What purchases are eligible for commission?
  • Commissions apply to eligible purchases excluding VAT. Certain add-ons may not qualify.
• How long do cookies last?
  • Affiliate tracking cookies are valid for 30 days.
• What happens if a purchase is refunded?
  • If a purchase is refunded before payout, no commission is earned. Refunds after payout may result in deductions from future balances.
• Can I create fake accounts to boost stats?
  • No. Any such activity will result in termination of program access.
