Does the Comgrow T300 3D printer work with SimplyPrint, OctoPrint, Mainsail and Fluidd?
Each way of connecting it, what it needs, and how to set it up.
Ships with Klipper: OctoPrint only runs on top of it, through the OctoKlipper plugin
What works with SimplyPrint
Connected through Klipper (Moonraker), SimplyPrint supports most of what it offers on the Comgrow T300: the camera and AI failure detection, remote printing, skipping objects, temperature and movement control and AutoPrint. What slicer to use for the Comgrow T300
Use OrcaSlicer or ElegooSlicer: each has a ready-made profile for the Comgrow T300.
We only list slicers you can use in the SimplyPrint cloud, so there may be others for the Comgrow T300.
Cloud-Based Slicer for Comgrow T300: Use OrcaSlicer Online
Use OrcaSlicer and other slicers - directly in your browser with SimplyPrint's online cloud slicer. No installation required. Slice your Comgrow T300 models from any device, anywhere in the world!
Automatic Profile Updates: Profiles are automatically checked and fetched from the slicer GitHub repositories every day, as well as from our own open-source community-driven slicer profile database. This ensures you always have access to the latest profiles.
Note: Other slicers, such as Simplify3D, ideaMaker, SuperSlicer and KISSlicer, aren't in our cloud, so we don't track their profiles. They may still work well with your Comgrow T300: check the slicer's own documentation or forums for a profile. You can also contribute profiles to our open-source slicer profile database on GitHub.
The app for the Comgrow T300
SimplyPrint works as the Comgrow T300's app: on your phone and in any browser, with a slicer in the cloud.
There's no plate swapper or auto-ejection kit for the Comgrow T300 in SimplyPrint yet, but AutoPrint can still keep it printing: once the plate is clear, it starts the next job from your queue.
Bed slingers are the easiest to automate
The Comgrow T300 moves its bed back and forth, so its plate comes out to the front of the printer. That's what plate swappers like these use: they take the finished plate off and slide a fresh one on. Without a kit, a G-code routine can push cooled prints off with the toolhead.

What filament can the Comgrow T300 print?
Filament compatibility for the Comgrow T300: the materials it can handle, judged from its hotend, bed, chamber and enclosure.
Filament
Suitability
Notes
PLA
Great
The easiest filament to print. Works on almost any printer; a heated bed helps adhesion but is not required.
PETG
Great
Comfortably in range (PETG likes a ~230-250C hotend and a ~70-85C bed).
TPU & flexibles
Great
The direct-drive extruder feeds flexible filament well. Print slowly for clean results.
ABS & ASA
With care
The bed is hot enough, but ABS and ASA warp without an enclosure, which is strongly recommended for clean prints.
Nylon (PA)
With care
Possible with care - an enclosure and very dry filament are essential.
Polycarbonate (PC)
With care
On the edge - PC really wants an enclosed, hot chamber to avoid warping.
Carbon-fiber & glass-filled
With care
Possible if you fit a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle - the abrasive fibers quickly wear a stock brass nozzle.
Tip: this is a general guide from the printer's specs - always check your filament's recommended settings. With SimplyPrint you can save a profile for each spool and track exactly what filament you have in stock.
Best filament for the Comgrow T300
Filaments the Comgrow T300 prints well, Comgrow's own first, then the best known.
Printers from the same maker, of a similar size, printing the same engineering materials or multi-material like it, that you can buy today. Compare up to four side by side, with their specs and how each connects.

Comgrow is a brand of Shenzhen ZCSW Technology Co., Ltd., which according to Comgrow's own About page also owns Sovol. Established in 2017, it sells its own large Klipper printers (T300 and T500), filament dryers and filament, and its store also resells Sovol products and, as an authorised distributor, Creality printers. The T300 is also sold in Sovol's own store.

Mixed, leaning open: Klipper printers with open filament and no cloud we could find, but no published firmware or configuration and very little documentation; support leans on the Sovol relationship.
Firmware and custom firmware ●●●●●
The T300 and T500 run Klipper, which is open source, but we found no published firmware or configuration for them: Comgrow's GitHub organisation has no public repositories, and Sovol's Klipper fork does not name them.
[3][8][7][10]
Local control and integrations ●●●●●
The T300 and T500 run Klipper on a touchscreen; Sovol's T300 listing says it can be controlled remotely over Wi-Fi or printed from a USB drive. We found no Comgrow cloud service or account, but also no Comgrow documentation of its web interface or of Moonraker, so access for other software is unconfirmed.
[8][11]
Third-party filament, slicers and parts ●●●●●
Klipper takes G-code from any slicer, and we found no chipped spools or cartridges. Hardened nozzles are shared with Sovol printers (SV07, SV08), so parts overlap across the two brands.
[5][6][11]
Repairs and spare parts ●●●●●
Comgrow sells T300/T500 extruders, a hotend kit, nozzles, a PEI plate, the T300 screen and the T500 power supply; Sovol's store also stocks T300 parts. We found no repair guides.
[5][6][8]
Community and documentation ●●●●●
Little documentation of its own: Comgrow's site links to Sovol's wiki, which has only a store link for the T300, and we found no Comgrow forum or code.
[2][9][7]
Pros
Large build volumes (300 mm and 500 mm cubes) on Klipper, with no cloud account we could find.
Shares a parent company and parts with Sovol, so nozzles and other parts overlap.
Spare extruders, hotends, nozzles and plates sold in Comgrow's store.
Cons
Very little Comgrow documentation; the site points to Sovol's wiki.
No published Klipper configuration or firmware for its printers that we could find.
Few independent reviews of the T300 and T500 from major outlets.
3DJake, a large European retailer, lists the T500 as no longer sold.
Researched from 11 sources, last checked October 18, 2026. Show sources
