Does the FLSUN S1 Pro 3D printer work with SimplyPrint, OctoPrint, Mainsail and Fluidd?
Each way of connecting it, what it needs, and how to set it up.
Ships Klipper; its USB is internal, so OctoPrint runs only on top of Klipper.

What works with SimplyPrint
Connected through Klipper (Moonraker), SimplyPrint supports most of what it offers on the FLSUN S1 Pro: the camera and AI failure detection, remote printing, skipping objects, temperature and movement control and AutoPrint. Not yet in SimplyPrint through Klipper (Moonraker): download the file before the print starts.

What slicer to use for the FLSUN S1 Pro
None of the slicers in SimplyPrint's cloud has a ready-made profile for the FLSUN S1 Pro, but it takes standard G-code: start from a similar printer's profile and set the bed size, height and nozzle to match.
We only list slicers you can use in the SimplyPrint cloud, so there may be others for the FLSUN S1 Pro.
Cloud-Based Slicer for FLSUN S1 Pro
All supported slicers - directly in your browser with SimplyPrint's online cloud slicer. No installation required. Slice your FLSUN S1 Pro models from any device, anywhere in the world!
Automatic Profile Updates: Profiles are automatically checked and fetched from the slicer GitHub repositories every day, as well as from our own open-source community-driven slicer profile database. This ensures you always have access to the latest profiles.
Note: Other slicers, such as Simplify3D, ideaMaker, SuperSlicer and KISSlicer, aren't in our cloud, so we don't track their profiles. They may still work well with your FLSUN S1 Pro: check the slicer's own documentation or forums for a profile. You can also contribute profiles to our open-source slicer profile database on GitHub.
The app for the FLSUN S1 Pro
SimplyPrint works as the FLSUN S1 Pro's app: on your phone and in any browser, with a slicer in the cloud.
There's no plate swapper or auto-ejection kit for the FLSUN S1 Pro in SimplyPrint yet, but AutoPrint can still keep it printing: once the plate is clear, it starts the next job from your queue.
Ways to automate it
Your own ejection G-codeWrite the routine that clears your plate, and AutoPrint runs it after every print.

What filament can the FLSUN S1 Pro print?
Filament compatibility for the FLSUN S1 Pro: the materials it can handle, judged from its hotend, bed, chamber and enclosure.
Filament
Suitability
Notes
PLA
Great
The easiest filament to print. Works on almost any printer; a heated bed helps adhesion but is not required.
PETG
Great
Comfortably in range (PETG likes a ~230-250C hotend and a ~70-85C bed).
TPU & flexibles
With care
Possible, but a Bowden extruder makes flexibles harder - print slowly and prefer firmer (higher-shore) TPU.
ABS & ASA
With care
The bed is hot enough, but ABS and ASA warp without an enclosure, which is strongly recommended for clean prints.
Nylon (PA)
With care
Possible with care - an enclosure and very dry filament are essential.
Polycarbonate (PC)
With care
On the edge - PC really wants an enclosed, hot chamber to avoid warping.
Carbon-fiber & glass-filled
With care
Possible if you fit a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle - the abrasive fibers quickly wear a stock brass nozzle.
Tip: this is a general guide from the printer's specs - always check your filament's recommended settings. With SimplyPrint you can save a profile for each spool and track exactly what filament you have in stock.
Best filament for the FLSUN S1 Pro
Filaments the FLSUN S1 Pro prints well, FLSUN's own first, then the best known.

FLSUN is the printer brand of Zhengzhou Chaokuo Electronic Technology, a Chinese company founded in 2015. Since 2017 it has made only delta printers, built for speed: the open-frame T1 series, the enclosed S1 and the large V400 Max all run Klipper. They suit people who print tall parts or want fast prints and are willing to tune a delta.

Fairly free to use as you like: Klipper with a local web interface, OrcaSlicer support and a deep spare-parts catalogue. The firmware source came late, as one-time uploads.
Firmware and custom firmware ●●●●●
The S and T series run Klipper, which Tom's Hardware found close to stock on the S1. FLSUN uploaded the Klipper and Moonraker code for the S1, S1 Pro, T1, T1 Pro, T1 Max and T1E to GitHub in August 2025, more than a year after the S1 shipped, as one-time uploads rather than maintained repositories.
[3][4][9]
Local control and integrations ●●●●●
The S1 and T1 series run Klipper with a stock Mainsail interface on the local network, with no account; FLSUN put the printers' Klipper and Moonraker code on GitHub in 2025, and other software can use Moonraker's documented API. FLSUN's app and web platform add remote control and fleet management.
[9][10][4][11][15]
Third-party filament, slicers and parts ●●●●●
Any filament works, and OrcaSlicer ships profiles for the S1, T1 and V400 next to FLSUN's own OrcaSlicer-based slicer (published under the AGPL). The S1 takes a standard removable V6-type nozzle, but effectors and hotend kits are FLSUN delta parts.
[14][6][9]
Repairs and spare parts ●●●●●
FLSUN's US shop lists over 100 spare parts for the S, T and V400 series, down to motherboards, effectors, parallel arms, screens, motors and belts. We found no published CAD for the current printers.
[12]
Data and privacy ●●●●●
Printing over Klipper needs no account. FLSUN's app does, and its privacy policy describes collecting device data, location signals and usage, without saying where the data is stored.
[13]
From SimplyPrintOur own experience working with FLSUN. It isn't part of the rating.
When an FLSUN owner had a problem with SimplyPrint, one of FLSUN's developers spent over an hour in our live chat with our developers, working it out together.
Pros
Fast delta printers that suit tall parts.
Klipper with a Mainsail web interface on your own network, no account needed.
Large spare-parts catalogue, down to boards, arms and effectors.
OrcaSlicer has FLSUN profiles, so you are not tied to FLSUN's slicer.
Cons
Firmware source arrived late and as one-time uploads, not maintained repositories.
Reviewers found the S1 needed slicer tuning for accurate prints and measured the T1 Pro louder than advertised.
Tom's Hardware did not recommend the S1 for beginners.
The privacy policy does not say where app data is stored.
