OctoEverywhere is a free, community-funded service that adds secure remote access, full-frame webcam streaming, notifications and its free Gadget AI failure detection on top of a printer host you already run, OctoPrint, Klipper (Mainsail/Fluidd), Bambu Lab (via Bambu Connect), Elegoo, or PrusaLink. For a single maker who just wants to watch and control their printer from anywhere without paying, it's genuinely excellent, and we mean that.
But "reach my printer from my phone" and "run a print farm or a classroom" are different jobs. OctoEverywhere is an access layer; it has no print queue, no slicer, no filament inventory, no continuous-printing automation and no real multi-user accounts of its own, because that was never its goal.
