Eject, reload, print again - no hands needed

AutoSwap is a physical plate-swapper that lifts the finished plate out and drops a fresh blank one in from a stack. Set a max plate count in SimplyPrint and AutoPrint will run that many jobs back to back, then stop cleanly when the stack runs out.

What is AutoSwap?

AutoSwap is an automatic plate changer (a bed-clearing add-on) for desktop 3D printers, with editions for the Bambu Lab A1 and the Anycubic Kobra 3. When a print finishes, AutoSwap ejects the whole build plate and loads a fresh blank plate from a finite stack, so the printer can keep going completely unattended for as many plates as you have loaded.

In SimplyPrint this is a cycle-dependent clearing method: because the plate supply is finite, you set a maximum plate (cycle) count. AutoPrint counts each completed swap and stops the printer cleanly once the stack is exhausted, so you never end up printing onto an empty carriage. Pair it with the print queue and AutoPrint handles the start, the swap, and the next job for you.

How AutoSwap works in SimplyPrint

Fit the AutoSwap hardware to your printer, then turn it on in SimplyPrint in a few clicks.

1. Connect and enable AutoPrint

Add your Bambu A1 or Anycubic Kobra 3 to SimplyPrint as usual, then enable AutoPrint on that printer.

2. Pick AutoSwap and set max cycles

Choose AutoSwap as the clearing method and set the maximum plate count to match how many blank plates you have stacked.

3. Queue jobs and walk away

Fill the print queue. AutoPrint starts a job, swaps the plate when it finishes, loads the next job, and stops at your max count.

As many as you have blank plates stacked. AutoSwap is cycle-dependent, so in SimplyPrint you set a maximum plate count. AutoPrint runs that many jobs back to back, swapping a fresh plate after each, then stops cleanly when the stack runs out.
Yes. AutoSwap is a third-party hardware add-on you buy and fit to your printer. SimplyPrint then drives it through the AutoSwap clearing method - no extra SimplyPrint purchase beyond your AutoPrint license.
Manual clearing means someone has to be there to pop the part off and restart the next job. AutoSwap does the swap physically and AutoPrint starts the next queued job automatically, so your A1 or Kobra 3 keeps printing overnight without anyone present.
Yes. AutoSwap is driven by AutoPrint, which pulls jobs straight from your print queue. Queue up your jobs and AutoPrint starts the next one after every plate swap, up to your max plate count.
