One of the ways to connect your 3D printer(s) to SimplyPrint is through the Moonraker API.
Moonraker is an underlying API server for Klipper, used by all the most popular Klipper interfaces, such as Mainsail and Fluidd
In a collaboration with the developer of Moonraker, Eric (Arksine), we have made it possible to connect your Klipper printer to SimplyPrint with Moonraker with
no additional install being required - it's built-in as a module you can simply enable in your Moonraker config, by adding [simplyprint] on a new line in the bottom of the config!
SimplyPrint takes your Klipper-powered 3D printer(s) to the next level, allowing you to access them anywhere, anytime, from any device, along with
a bunch of other smart features, multi-printer friendly platform, and a lot more!
How to get started? Simply sign up for SimplyPrint, and follow the instructions - it only takes a couple of minutes!
Sign up and add your printer
Create a free SimplyPrint account and start adding your Klipper printer. Choose the Moonraker connection method to begin.
Enable the built-in SimplyPrint module
On official Moonraker, add [simplyprint] on a new line at the bottom of your config and restart - nothing else to install. A few manufacturer-modified builds (some Qidi and Elegoo Neptune 4 / Makerbase printers) ship Moonraker with this removed; those use a one-line installer script instead.
Link and print from anywhere
Your printer connects to SimplyPrint and shows up in the panel. Slice, send, queue and monitor it remotely from any device.
Enable the built-in [simplyprint] module in your Moonraker config, then your Klipper printer connects to SimplyPrint. You can monitor and control it from the web panel or mobile app anywhere, with no port forwarding or VPN.
On official Moonraker, no - SimplyPrint support is built in, so you just add [simplyprint] to your config and restart, with no separate plugin.
A few manufacturers (some Qidi machines, the Elegoo Neptune 4 and other Makerbase-powered printers) ship a modified Moonraker with SimplyPrint support removed. On those, run SimplyPrint's one-line installer script during setup instead, and the printer connects the same way.
Yes. Mainsail and Fluidd are Klipper web interfaces that run on top of Moonraker, so connecting through the Moonraker module works alongside whichever interface you use.
Yes. The Moonraker module is free and SimplyPrint's free plan lets you connect a printer and manage it remotely. Paid plans add more printers and features.
Yes. Add each printer through Moonraker and manage your whole fleet from one panel, with queueing, monitoring and remote control across every printer.
Integration for SimplyPrint allows for applications to interact with your 3D printers, and your 3D printers to interact with other applications. This allows for endless possibilities, and we strongly believe that your 3D printer should be able to function as an IOT device, working together with any and all applications you can imagine!
This is why the team behind SimplyPrint work to provide official integrations for the most popular platforms, slicer and applications, while also allowing our users to create custom integrations using our API, or for approved third party vendors to create integrations to be used by all SimplyPrint users, using a "Log in with SimplyPrint" method (using the "OAuth2" method).
If you're a developer interested in creating an integration for SimplyPrint, please read our documentation on the subject.
If you're not a developer yourself, but would like to see an integration for a specific application, go check if it's already on our roadmap or suggestion list, and if not, feel free to suggest it!
