Put your print farm on autopilot with FarmLoop and SimplyPrint

The 3D-Farmers FarmLoop is a mod for the Bambu Lab A/P/X Series printers that allows automatic clearing of the print bed when the print is finished, allowing the printer to keep going until it's out of things to print!

Using AutoClear with the AutoPrint SimplyPrint feature, you can keep your printer running 24/7, without having to manually start prints or remove finished prints from the printer.

Using the SimplyPrint Print Queue with smart tagging system, Gcode analysis and material information, we match the right queue items with the right printer(s), allowing you to not have to worry about starting prints - ever

How to use FarmLoop with SimplyPrint

1

Add the FarmLoop mod to your Bambu Lab printer

FarmLoop is a hardware mod for Bambu Lab A, P and X series printers. Print the free Stage 1 parts from MakerWorld, or fit the Stage 2 hardware kit from 3D Farmers, so the printer can push or lift finished prints off the bed.

2

Connect the printer and enable FarmLoop in AutoPrint

Add your Bambu Lab printer to SimplyPrint, then pick FarmLoop as the AutoPrint method on that printer. SimplyPrint injects the bed-clearing gcode at the end of each print, with no firmware flashing.

3

Fill the queue and let it run

Add models to the SimplyPrint print queue. Smart tagging and gcode analysis match each item to the right printer, the bed clears itself when a print finishes, and the next job starts automatically.

Frequently asked questions

What is FarmLoop and how does it enable continuous printing?

FarmLoop is a hardware mod for Bambu Lab printers that physically clears the print bed when a job finishes. Paired with SimplyPrint AutoPrint, the next print in your queue starts automatically, so the printer keeps running unattended.

Which printers does FarmLoop work with?

FarmLoop supports Bambu Lab A series (A1, A1 Mini), P series (P1P, P1S, P2S) and X series (X1C), plus the H2D and H2S. It is a Bambu Lab specific mod and does not work with other brands.

Do I need extra hardware, and is the integration free?

You need the FarmLoop mod itself: free Stage 1 parts you print from MakerWorld, or a paid Stage 2 hardware kit from 3D Farmers. The SimplyPrint integration is free to use during the public beta and will become a paid AutoPrint addon afterward.

How does SimplyPrint decide which print to start next?

The SimplyPrint print queue uses smart tagging, gcode analysis and material info to match each queued model to a compatible printer, so the right job starts on the right machine without you choosing manually.

Can I monitor an unattended FarmLoop farm remotely?

Yes. You can watch each printer camera, follow progress across the whole farm and pause or stop any print from the SimplyPrint web panel or mobile app, even while prints clear and restart on their own.

About SimplyPrint integrations

Integration for SimplyPrint allows for applications to interact with your 3D printers, and your 3D printers to interact with other applications. This allows for endless possibilities, and we strongly believe that your 3D printer should be able to function as an IOT device, working together with any and all applications you can imagine!

This is why the team behind SimplyPrint work to provide official integrations for the most popular platforms, slicer and applications, while also allowing our users to create custom integrations using our API, or for approved third party vendors to create integrations to be used by all SimplyPrint users, using a "Log in with SimplyPrint" method (using the "OAuth2" method).

If you're a developer interested in creating an integration for SimplyPrint, please read our documentation on the subject.

If you're not a developer yourself, but would like to see an integration for a specific application, go check if it's already on our roadmap or suggestion list, and if not, feel free to suggest it!
