Slide-based courses with quizzes run inside the same panel students print from - no separate learning platform. Use the built-in 3D printing courses or author your own.

Assign a blocking safety course and the start-print button stays locked until the student passes the quiz. Slicing, bed clearing and filament changes can be gated the same way.

It was super easy. I had never 3D printed before, and had taken some distance from it, but when I tried it it was just simple, it worked and it helped me through the process.

SimplyPrint has made it easier and more manageable for the students to print and I can monitor a print from the mobile so I can stop it if there are any error early in the process.

SimplyPrint definitely makes it more welcoming to go into the room where these machines are, and get started with it, no matter who you are.

Does it work on Chromebooks and iPads without installing anything?

Yes. The slicer runs entirely in the browser and the heavy slicing happens on our servers, so it works on Chromebooks, iPads and any device with a browser - no downloads, no installs, no admin rights. See the browser slicer.

What's the difference between the K-12, higher education and district pages?

Same platform, different setups. K-12 leads with simple slicing, Tinkercad and teacher approval. Higher education leads with self-serve labs, quotas and SSO. Districts covers central management and billing across many schools. Running patron or member 3D printing instead? See libraries & makerspaces.

Can we require a safety course before students print?

Yes. Assign a blocking safety course in the Academy and the start-print button stays locked until the student passes the quiz. Slicing, bed clearing and filament changes can be gated the same way. Part of the education plan. See the Academy.

How do print quotas work?

Set per-student quotas by number of prints, material weight, print time or cost - per day, week, month, a custom range or a full semester. Balances can be topped up manually by staff, or programmatically through the API.

Do you support SSO?

Yes - single sign-on via SAML and OIDC: Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Clever (verified SAML app), ClassLink, Unilogin, Okta and any standards-compliant provider, plus the InCommon and eduGAIN federations. More on SSO for education.

Do you sign a data processing agreement (DPA)?

Yes. We have signed the SDPC / TEC multi-state National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA), Standard Version 1.0 - eligible districts in 15 US states can subscribe via the General Offer of Privacy Terms. For everyone else we offer a custom DPA - email [email protected]. See certifications & standards.

Is SimplyPrint accessible? (WCAG / VPAT)
