Setting up SimplyPrint: Direct Prusa Firmware method

Put the printer in contact with SimplyPrint

For this final step, we'll generate a settings file for your printer, which must be placed on a USB drive and inserted into the printer.

View-only mode: you must log in or sign up to complete the setup

You must select a printer on step 2 to download settings.

After settings download
  1. Put the downloaded file on a USB drive
    • Important: The file must be called "prusa_printer_settings.ini" - if not, rename it!
      In case you have downloaded this file multiple times, it may be called something like 'prusa_printer_settings (1).ini'. In that case, remove the '(1)' part.
  2. Plug the USB drive into your printer
  3. On the printer home screen, click "Settings"
    • Go to "Network"
    • Go to "SimplyPrint"
    • And click "Load Settings"
  4. Done! Your printer should connect to SimplyPrint momentarily
Setting up multiple Prusa printers?

You can repeat this process for each printer you want to set up. Each printer will need its own settings file downloaded and configured separately.
