Default commission tiers
Every approved affiliate starts on the same default tiers below. Higher-volume affiliates can be bumped up by SimplyPrint, but these are the baseline numbers we publish publicly so you always know what you're earning.
First month
Your referred customer's first monthly payment to SimplyPrint, 70% comes back to you.
Months 2-12
For the rest of the first year, you keep earning 30% of every monthly payment.
Year 2 and beyond
Recurring 15% commission for as long as the customer keeps paying SimplyPrint.
Yearly plans pay 40% the first year (one payment), then drop to 15% recurring on the renewal. AI Camera Detection is excluded from commission. These are the default tiers, set in the platform code, and may be customised per affiliate by SimplyPrint.
What you'd actually earn
Worked numbers on two realistic referrals so you can sanity-check the model. Inside the affiliate dashboard you also get a calculator to model your own projections in real time.
Example 1: One Pro plan referral
Hobbyist customer subscribes to Pro at $9.99/month and stays for 18 months.
- Month 1 70% of $9.99 = $6.99
- Months 2-12 30% of $9.99 × 11 = $32.97
- Months 13-18 15% of $9.99 × 6 = $8.99
Example 2: One Print Farm referral
Small print farm at $39.99/month, sticks around for 24 months.
- Month 1 70% of $39.99 = $27.99
- Months 2-12 30% of $39.99 × 11 = $131.97
- Months 13-24 15% of $39.99 × 12 = $71.98
Worked examples are illustrative, your actual numbers depend on the plan your referral picks and how long they stay subscribed. The platform tracks every payment automatically inside the affiliate dashboard.

Built-in commission calculator
Once you're approved, the dashboard includes a commission calculator. Punch in a plan, a subscription length, and it tells you what you'd earn including the first-month boost, the second-half rate, and the recurring tier. Real numbers, no spreadsheets.

Track which campaign drove which signup
Generate a different referral code for every video, blog post, podcast episode, or partnership. Each one has its own landing link and analytics, so you can see exactly which content converts. The dashboard rolls everything up into a single commission ledger.
PayPal payouts every 14 days
$10 minimum, real cash, not store credit
Approved affiliates configure PayPal as their payout method (currently the only supported channel). Every 14 days, available balance gets paid out, as long as you're over the $10 minimum for your currency. Pending commission becomes available after the customer's payment clears and the refund window closes.
16-month attribution window
When someone clicks your link, the referral is attributed to you for the next 16 months. That's the configured default in the platform: you don't lose the referral just because your viewer waited a few months to actually sign up. If they convert inside the window, the full commission ladder kicks in.
Promotional asset pack
Banners, badges, screenshots, copy snippets, ready to embed
The moment your application is approved, the full promotional asset pack is available, all of it, all at once. Nothing is gated behind referral counts or milestones. Embed branded banners on your blog or sidebar, drop the embeddable referral badge into a video description or GitHub readme, paste the pre-written copy snippets into a sponsorship slot, or pull screenshots and the SimplyPrint brand guide straight into a thumbnail. Every asset routes through your affiliate codes automatically.
How to apply
One form, manual review, usually fast
Open the application form in your panel, tell us about your audience (size, channels, social links, what you cover, how you plan to promote SimplyPrint), and submit. We review every application by hand. We're looking for genuine 3D printing audiences (YouTube channels, blogs, podcasts, communities) where SimplyPrint actually fits, not generic affiliate marketers. If you're approved, your commission dashboard goes live immediately.
Who is the affiliate program for?
Creators who already talk about 3D printing to an audience. YouTubers covering printers and prints, makers running a maker blog, podcasters in the 3D printing space, community leaders, reviewers, course creators. If your audience overlaps with people who'd benefit from SimplyPrint (hobbyists with one printer, print farms with twenty, schools with a classroom), this program is built to reward you for sending them our way.
