Setting up SimplyPrint on Modix Big 120Z V4: BIGTREETECH Pad method

BIGTREETECH Pad setup for this printer. Follow the steps to connect your Modix Big 120Z V4 3D printer to SimplyPrint.

Add [simplyprint] to the moonraker.conf config file

  1. Go to the "Configuration" tab
  2. Under "Configuration Files", click on the moonraker.conf file
  • NOTE: if you have a custom moonraker config file, or one called moonraker.generated.config, you may need to edit that file instead
  1. Add [simplyprint] to the bottom of the file (with an empty line above it)
  2. Click the "Save & restart" button

Lastly; link your printer to SimplyPrint

After saving and restarting, your printer should appear automatically in SimplyPrint!

  1. Go to SimplyPrint.io and click Add Printer
  2. Check Pending Printers - your printer will likely appear there automatically
  3. Click to add it and you're done!

If your printer doesn't appear in Pending Printers:

This can happen if you're not on the same network as your printer (different outgoing IP). In this case, use the setup code:

  1. In the "Announcements" bell (🔔) in the top bar, find the "SimplyPrint Setup Request" message

  1. Copy the setup code and paste it in SimplyPrint under Add Printer
