3D print directly from Fusion 360 - export, slice and print in one click

The SimplyPrint add-in for Autodesk Fusion 360 bridges the gap between CAD design and 3D printing. Model in Fusion, then send your design straight to your printer in a single click - no separate export step, no juggling files between programs.

The add-in adds a SimplyPrint button to Fusion's UTILITIES panel (and next to the built-in 3D Print button on the MAKE panel). Pick STL or 3MF, choose what to export, tweak the mesh quality, hit Send, and SimplyPrint opens in your browser with the model loaded - ready to slice, queue, or print.

How to install

Option 1 - Windows installer (recommended)

1. Download the installer:

   Download SimplyPrintFusionExport-installer.exe

2. Run the installer and click through the 3 steps - it drops the add-in straight into Fusion's AddIns folder.

3. Open Fusion 360 (or restart it if it was already running).

4. Press Shift+S, open the Add-Ins tab, select SimplyPrintExport, and click Run. Tick Run on Startup so it loads automatically next time.

Option 2 - Manual install (Windows, macOS)

1. Download the zip:

   Download SimplyPrintFusionExport.zip

2. Extract the zip to a folder you'll keep around (your Documents folder is a safe choice - don't put it on your desktop or in Downloads where it might get cleaned up).

3. Open Fusion 360, press Shift+S, and switch to the Add-Ins tab.

4. Click the green + button next to My Add-Ins, point it at the extracted SimplyPrintExport folder, and click Open.

5. Select SimplyPrintExport in the list, click Run, and tick Run on Startup.

Getting started

Click the SimplyPrint button on the UTILITIES panel (or next to the 3D Print button on MAKE) to open the dialog. Click Log in the first time - a browser tab opens, you approve the request, and you're set for future sessions. Pick the format, scope, units and mesh quality you want, then hit Send. Your browser opens SimplyPrint with the model uploaded, ready to slice, queue, or print on one or more printers.

• Tune mesh quality with Low / Medium / High presets - or fine-tune surface deviation, normal deviation and edge length in Custom mode
