The VEHO 500 Pro is an open-frame Klipper printer from Tronxy with a 500 x 500 x 500 mm plate and a 320 °C direct-drive hotend. It is for hobbyists and small workshops that want big parts without paying for an enclosed machine.
Current 7-inch version ships Klipper with KlipperScreen (manual), which runs on Moonraker. Tronxy also publishes an older VEHO 500PRO manual with its own touchscreen app; early units may differ.
来源
Choose the 500 Pro when you need a 500 mm build volume and high-temperature capability at the lowest price in Tronxy's 500 mm range, and you are happy to run it open or add the optional enclosure. If you want ABS or ASA printed in a closed chamber out of the box, or a classroom-safe machine, the enclosed VEHO 500A is the better pick; if you need more room, the VEHO 600 Pro V3 is the next size up.
优点
500 x 500 x 500 mm build volume with a 320 °C ceramic-heated direct-drive extruder (Tronxy).
Runs Klipper with a 7-inch touchscreen and prints up to 300 mm/s, with an AC-heated bed and four independent Z motors (Tronxy).
Works with SimplyPrint through Klipper, so you get remote monitoring and queueing.
Seven linear guides and built-in lighting; an enclosure is offered as an option (Tronxy).
Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB are all listed for connecting it.
缺点
Open frame as sold, with the enclosure optional, so ABS, ASA and nylon are harder to print well.
The maker's page lists no built-in camera. Add a camera for unattended prints.
Slower than Tronxy's 600 mm/s enclosed models; the page quotes 300 mm/s.
No independent hands-on review found, so the claims here are Tronxy's own.
适合谁
学校不太适合
Open frame with a 320 °C hotend and moving parts in reach; students need an enclosed printer, and this one would need the optional enclosure.
业余爱好者适合
A lot of build volume and Klipper tinkering room for the money, if you can live without a closed chamber.
企业可用
Fine for large PLA or PETG prototypes; the open frame and missing camera limit engineering materials and unattended use.
打印农场不太适合
One large, open, camera-less machine is a poor building block for a farm of identical printers.
Tronxy (Shenzhen Tronxy Technology Co., Ltd) is a Shenzhen 3D printer maker whose founder built the company's first printer in 2013. It sells low- and mid-priced FDM printers, from the X5SA and XY-3 series up to the very large VEHO line (1,000 mm and more), plus Moore clay printers, through its own store, Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Alibaba and dealers. Buyers are hobbyists, schools and small businesses that want a large build volume for little money.
Mostly open: Marlin source on GitHub, Klipper on the newer large printers, open filament and no cloud. Documentation is thin, and firmware downloads go through an email request.
固件和自定义固件 ●●●●●
Tronxy publishes Marlin source for its STM32/GD32 boards on GitHub (tronxy3d) under GPL-3.0, covering nearly 30 X5SA, XY, D01 and VEHO 500-800 variants, last updated February 2024. Its newer VEHO PRO and A series ship with Klipper, and it sells a Klipper upgrade kit for the X5SA.

本地控制与集成 ●●●●●
We found no Tronxy cloud service or account. The Klipper VEHO PRO prints from a USB flash drive or over a USB data cable, Wi-Fi or Ethernet, all on your own premises, and Tronxy publishes the Marlin source for its X5SA and XY printers, which host software such as OctoPrint drives over USB.

第三方耗材、切片软件和零件 ●●●●●
Open filament (1.75 mm, with 2.85 mm print heads for the VEHO) and standard G-code, which any slicer produces. VEHO hotends and print heads such as the Ext06 are Tronxy's own parts.

维修和备件 ●●●●●
Tronxy's store sells model-specific mainboards, hotends, nozzles and extruder kits for current and older lines (X5SA, XY, VEHO), including Klipper-version parts.

社区和文档 ●●●●●
Firmware source and build steps are on GitHub, and upstream Klipper ships configs for eight Tronxy models. Tronxy's own download page asks owners to email for the right firmware instead of offering it directly.

优点
Very large build volumes for the price, up to 1,000 mm and more in the VEHO line.
Marlin source is public on GitHub, and the newer VEHO models run open-source Klipper.
No cloud or account: print over USB, memory card, Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Spare mainboards, hotends and nozzles sold for current and older models.
缺点
Firmware on Tronxy's website is by email request rather than a direct download.
Dozens of models and variants with similar names (the published firmware alone covers nearly 30), so check carefully which firmware and parts fit.
VEHO hotends and print heads are Tronxy-specific parts.
