The M1S is Geeetech's mini printer for kids and beginners: a 100 x 110 x 100 mm volume, 250 mm/s speed with input shaping, 16-point auto-levelling and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth app control. It is for first-time users and families who want a tiny, simple PLA machine.
Choose the M1S for a very small, simple first printer for a child or a desk: Geeetech's page lists $245, a 2.4-inch colour screen, filament runout sensor and an app with a model library. It prints only small parts, and the price is high for a machine of this size; for $245 or less a larger beginner printer such as the Creality Ender-3 V3 Neo gives more room. We found no independent review, only two five-star comments on Geeetech's own page.
优点
Compact and simple, aimed at kids and beginners, with a 2.4-inch colour screen and built-in LED lighting (Geeetech).
Fully automatic 16-point levelling, a filament runout sensor and auto nozzle cleaning (Geeetech).
Up to 250 mm/s with input shaping and pressure advance (Geeetech).
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth app control with a model library (Geeetech).
Expected to work with SimplyPrint through OctoPrint.
缺点
A tiny build volume, 100 x 110 x 100 mm, so only small prints fit.
Open frame, and best kept to PLA, PETG and TPU.
Ships with a 0.5 kg spool holder, and a 1 kg holder has to be printed (Geeetech).
No independent review, and the OctoPrint route is expected, not verified; Klipper is unlikely.
适合谁
学校可用
Small, simple and aimed at kids, and SimplyPrint can queue prints for approval via OctoPrint if confirmed, but it is open and tiny.
业余爱好者可用
An easy first printer, though the volume is tiny and the price is high for it.
企业不太适合
Too small and limited in materials for business use.
打印农场不太适合
A tiny plate and no confirmed camera or enclosure make a fleet impractical.
Geeetech (HK GETECH Co., Limited, with its office at Shenzhen Getech Technology) is a Chinese 3D printer and filament maker that says it has worked on 3D printers since 2011. It made a long line of budget printers, from Prusa i3 kits through the A10/A20/A30, Mizar and Thunder series, and now sells the compact M1 and M1S for children and beginners alongside a large filament range.

Mostly open, with a caveat: the older printers came with published Marlin source and schematics, while the current M1 line has closed firmware but still runs locally with any filament and open slicers.
固件和自定义固件 ●●●●●
Geeetech published Marlin-based firmware source and board schematics for its earlier printers on GitHub (Geeetech3D) and its download centre, including open-source files for the Mizar S updated until 2024. For the current M1 and M1S it offers firmware binaries only; we found no source.

本地控制与集成 ●●●●●
The M1 Mini prints from a TF card or over USB with no account. The M1S adds Wi-Fi and the Geeetech app for printing from its model library 'anywhere', a remote feature that runs through Geeetech's app. Geeetech documents no network interface for other software, and for these models it offers only firmware binaries.

Any 1.75 mm filament (PLA and TPU on the M1), and Geeetech publishes Cura and OrcaSlicer profiles for it. Nozzles and hot-end parts for the M1 are Geeetech's own, sold in its store.

Geeetech sells M1 parts (hotbed, nozzles, hot-end components, PEI plate) and posts videos on replacing the nozzle and the motherboard; schematics for older boards are published.

A long-running wiki, a download centre with manuals, firmware, profiles and videos per model, and GitHub repositories. Independent coverage of the current M1 line is scarce.

优点
Inexpensive compact printers aimed at children and beginners.
Any 1.75 mm filament, with Cura and OrcaSlicer profiles published.
Spare nozzles, hotbeds and hot-end parts for the M1, plus repair videos.
Downloads (manuals, firmware) kept online for printers going back many years.
缺点
No published firmware source for the current M1 and M1S.
The M1S's remote printing runs through Geeetech's phone app; we found no privacy terms covering the app.
Small 100 x 110 x 100 mm build volume on the M1.
Little independent testing of the current models that we could find.
