Markforged's largest printer: a 525 x 400 x 400 mm build volume with a heated chamber up to 200 °C that can print ULTEM 9085 and Vega. It is made for aerospace and other high-temperature industrial parts.
Cloud-only printer: it prints from Markforged's Eiger platform, which has an API. SimplyPrint can build support through that API if enough people vote for it.
ソース
Choose it for big, high-temperature parts that the FX10's 60 °C chamber and 375 x 300 x 300 mm bed can't handle. If your parts fit in the FX10 and you don't need ULTEM or Vega, the FX10 or X7 take far less floor space.
メリット
Biggest build volume Markforged makes: 525 x 400 x 400 mm.
Heated chamber up to 200 °C, with ULTEM 9085 and Vega as well as Onyx and continuous carbon fiber.
XL spools hold four times the material, so long prints need fewer spool changes.
Linear encoders give closed-loop motion control.
7-inch touchscreen controls the whole printer.
デメリット
Not supported by SimplyPrint yet: it can be built on Markforged's cloud API if enough people vote for it.
Runs Markforged's closed firmware with Eiger, so there is no OctoPrint or Klipper route.
Weighs 530 kg and measures 1325 x 900 x 1925 mm, so it needs a prepared room and a 200-240 V supply.
Connects through Ethernet only; the datasheet lists no Wi-Fi.
おすすめの対象
学校適していない
A 530 kg industrial printer is out of scope for a classroom.
ホビーユーザー適していない
Industrial machine with closed firmware and no third-party route.
企業最適
Large, heated-chamber production printer for high-temperature composite parts.
プリントファーム動作する場合あり
Eiger can manage a fleet of Markforged printers, but SimplyPrint cannot manage the FX20 today.
Markforged is an American maker of industrial 3D printers, founded in 2013 near Boston, known for nylon parts reinforced with continuous carbon fibre and for metal printing. Printers, materials and its cloud software Eiger are sold together as one closed platform to manufacturers, defence and aerospace. Nano Dimension bought it in April 2025, and in May 2026 agreed to sell it to Stratasys.

Closed by design: proprietary firmware, Markforged-only materials and cloud slicing, for industrial buyers who want one supported, secure system.
ファームウェアとカスタムファームウェア ●●●●●
Closed firmware, updated over the air through Eiger; no source is published and no custom firmware is supported.
[2]
ローカル制御と連携 ●●●●●
Markforged printers are sliced and run through Eiger, its cloud software, by default, and Eiger is the only slicer they accept. Sites that cannot use the cloud can pay for Offline Eiger, which works over USB or a private network. APIs for linking other enterprise systems come with Eiger Fleet, a paid cloud subscription. We found no local interface for other software.

サードパーティー製フィラメント、スライサー、部品 ●●●●●
Markforged printers use only Markforged materials (Onyx, continuous fibres, metals) and only Eiger for slicing.
[2][3]
修理と交換部品 ●●●●●
Replacement print heads, extruders and nozzle parts are sold through Markforged resellers, mostly as assemblies (a Mark Two print head lists at over 1,400 pounds), and some come free under service ('Success') plans.
[13][14]
データとプライバシー ●●●●●
Eiger accounts hold your parts library and print jobs on AWS, encrypted, with two-factor login and ISO 27001 certification, and the privacy policy says what is collected. Offline Eiger keeps the data on site.

メリット
Prints parts reinforced with continuous carbon fibre, Kevlar or fibreglass, strong enough to replace some machined parts.
One supported system: printers, materials and software from one company, with ISO 27001 certification.
Offline Eiger available for sites that cannot use the cloud.
The FX10 prints both composites and metal.
デメリット
Only Markforged materials and the Eiger slicer; no third-party filament.
Cloud first: the offline option is a separate subscription.
Ownership in flux: bought by Nano Dimension in 2025, with a sale to Stratasys pending in 2026.
Layoffs in 2023 and a $25 million patent settlement in 2024.
実績
2026年5月27日: Stratasys agreed to buy MarkForged, Inc. from Nano Dimension for $42.5 million in cash; Nano Dimension keeps the metal binder jetting line. Closing was expected in the second half of 2026, and Stratasys still called it pending in August 2026.

9月 2024: Markforged settled Continuous Composites' patent suit, filed in 2021, by agreeing to pay $25 million over four years, with cross-licences; neither side admitted liability.
[11][12]
4月 2024: A Delaware jury found that Markforged infringed a Continuous Composites patent on continuous-fibre printing; Markforged attempted to appeal before settling.
[12]
11月 2023: Markforged announced a restructuring, mostly an approximately 10% headcount reduction, citing continuing economic headwinds.
[7]
9月 2022: Markforged said its Offline Eiger subscription, which runs fully offline, had received a year of quarterly updates with the same materials and features as the cloud version.
