How to use Cura with SimplyPrint

Install the SimplyPrint plugin

Open the Marketplace in Cura, search for SimplyPrint Cloud Integration and click install. Restart Cura and you will see SimplyPrint under the Extensions menu.

Sign in to your account

Slice your model as usual, then the first time you send a file Cura opens a browser window to sign in to SimplyPrint and link the two.

Send to SimplyPrint and print

Click the arrow next to Save to Disk, choose Send to SimplyPrint cloud, then start printing right away or save the file to your account.

Is the Cura SimplyPrint integration free?

Yes. The Cura plugin and sending files to SimplyPrint are free, and SimplyPrint's free plan lets you connect a printer and print wirelessly.

How do I install the SimplyPrint plugin in Cura?

Open the Marketplace in Cura, search for SimplyPrint Cloud Integration, click install and restart Cura. The plugin then appears under the Extensions menu.

Does it work with any 3D printer?

It works with any printer you have connected to SimplyPrint - 130+ brands and 600+ models through OctoPrint, Klipper or a built-in integration.

Do I still use my own Cura profiles?

Yes. You slice in Cura with your own machine and material profiles. SimplyPrint only handles sending, queueing and monitoring the print.

Can I monitor the print after sending it?

Yes. Once a print starts you can watch the camera, follow progress and pause or stop it from the SimplyPrint web panel or the mobile app.
