3D Farmers x SimplyPrint giveaway: win a Bambu Lab X2D

Hey SimplyPrint'ers! 👋

We have something really fun to share today. After a long stretch of working closely with the team at FarmLoop and the crew over at 3D Farmers, we're now officially FarmLoop's first partner, with the FarmLoop automation running directly inside SimplyPrint. And the only proper way to celebrate a moment like this, we think, is with a giveaway.

So that's exactly what we're doing.

🏆 The prize

One winner takes home a brand new Bambu Lab X2D, a FarmLoop Stage 2 kit (pre-installed), and a 1-year SimplyPrint annual subscription. Entry is free, no purchase necessary, and it's open to entrants 18+.

Entry window closes 7 June 2026 at 23:59 CET. Winner drawn at random and announced 10 June on Instagram.

3D Farmers x SimplyPrint giveaway: win a Bambu Lab X2D

Why we're celebrating

The FarmLoop integration in SimplyPrint has been a labour of love for a while now. We've been working with 3D Farmers on it for a long time, and as it's matured we've moved it onto a proper footing with the FarmLoop team directly. From this point on, FarmLoop inside SimplyPrint runs on the official FarmLoop SDK that we built with the FarmLoop team and that they maintain.

That makes us FarmLoop's first official integration partner. We're a little proud of that.

FarmLoop has been one of the most-loved AutoPrint hardware solutions in our community for a long time, and one of the very few that has genuinely stood the test of time, expanded to more printers, and kept shipping improvements. In a space where AutoPrint accessories tend to come and go, FarmLoop just kept getting better. So pairing it with SimplyPrint properly was the obvious next step.

How to enter

The giveaway lives in two places: Instagram, and inside SimplyPrint.

  1. Follow @simplyprint3d and @3d_farmers on Instagram, and like the giveaway post.
  2. Sign up to SimplyPrint (or log in if you already have an account). A giveaway card will pop up in the bottom-left of your panel with the entry button.

Already a SimplyPrint user? Just head to the panel and the card will appear. If you've dismissed it, you can find it again under Settings → Giveaways. If you want to know more about how the popup works, we wrote a quick help article on SimplyPrint giveaways.

There's also an alternative no-cost entry method (email) described in the Giveaway Terms, so the Instagram side is the easier route for most people, but not the only one.

A quick recap on AutoPrint, since it's the reason any of this works

For those who haven't been following the AutoPrint side of things lately, the short version:

  • We just shipped AutoPrint v2 a couple of weeks ago, with much smarter unattended-print handling and tighter FarmLoop support.
  • Our AI Bed Check got a major v2 overhaul as part of that release. It actually understands what a clear bed looks like now, and pauses the cycle if it spots something it doesn't like, instead of plowing through.
  • And as of last week's release, AutoPrint is now included on the Pro plan ($9.99/mo) with 1 license included, and up to 5 total at $3/mo each. You no longer need Print Farm to run AutoPrint.

If you've been on the fence about trying FarmLoop + SimplyPrint together, this is the moment. The hardware side is mature, the AutoPrint side is mature, and AutoPrint is now accessible at the Pro tier.

What's changing with the FarmLoop integration

This is the slightly more technical bit, but it's worth knowing about, especially if you're already a FarmLoop user.

To keep the FarmLoop experience inside SimplyPrint identical to the FarmLoop App and to make sure newer FarmLoop releases land here fast, we've unified how we handle FarmLoop files. All the Gcode clearing, post-processing, and version handling now goes through the official FarmLoop SDK that the FarmLoop team maintains.

A few things follow from that:

  • Faster compatibility. When the FarmLoop team ships a fix based on user reports, SimplyPrint users get it too, automatically. No waiting on our release cycle for a small FarmLoop patch.
  • One consistent experience. Whether you're using the FarmLoop App or SimplyPrint, you're running the same FarmLoop version handling. Same behaviour, same fixes, same quality bar.
  • Tested by the FarmLoop team directly inside SimplyPrint. Before anything ships, the FarmLoop team tests it on their end, in our environment. Rigorously.
  • Your data still stays in the EU, on our servers. The SDK runs inside SimplyPrint's infrastructure, nothing leaves.

The FarmLoop team now owns FarmLoop support inside SimplyPrint. If you hit a FarmLoop-specific issue, you'll have one consistent place to go for help, and the people answering will be the people who actually built the thing.

We think that's better for everyone. Easier for the community to get unblocked, and lets us focus on the parts of SimplyPrint where our expertise lives.

Heads-up: FarmLoop App subscription coming

One small piece of runway, not a change today: as the SimplyPrint FarmLoop integration exits beta in the coming weeks, using the official FarmLoop integration will require having an active FarmLoop App subscription linked to your SimplyPrint account.

That subscription is separate from your SimplyPrint plan, and it's what funds the continued development of FarmLoop itself, which is the reason the integration keeps getting better. We think that's a healthy ecosystem. Existing SimplyPrint users will get a discount on the FarmLoop App subscription, and we'll notify FarmLoop users inside SimplyPrint well in advance with the exact details and timing.

So: nothing changes for you right this second. More info coming.

Wrapping up

To everyone in the community who has tried FarmLoop, suggested improvements, filed bug reports, or just told us this was the integration they wanted us to nail: thank you. Today's news is a direct result of all of that.

To 3D Farmers and the FarmLoop team: thanks for going on this ride with us. Excited for what's next.

And to everyone else: there's a Bambu Lab X2D with your name on it if you're lucky.
