## About

With the **SimplyPrint + Activepieces** integration, you can connect SimplyPrint to hundreds of services (Slack, Google Sheets, Discord, Gmail, Airtable, Notion and many more) and build automated workflows **on your own infrastructure**, or on the Activepieces cloud.

Activepieces is open-source, which means you can run the whole automation engine on your own server, write custom pieces in TypeScript, and keep every byte of data inside your own network. If you're a workshop, school or enterprise with data-residency or compliance requirements, that's the big win over closed automation platforms.

Set up triggers like *print finished*, *queue item pending approval*, *filament assigned* or *AI failure detected*, and have Activepieces run the actions you want: post to a channel, log to a spreadsheet, send an invoice, kick off the next queue item, or loop back into SimplyPrint to send a G-code command.

#### Self-hosting

If you run Activepieces on your own server, upgrade to **0.30.0 or newer** - the SimplyPrint piece ships in the standard build, so there's nothing extra to install. The source code lives in the Activepieces monorepo on [GitHub](https://github.com/activepieces/activepieces).
