*More than just spaghetti detection*

## AI Failure Detection for any 3D printer

Built directly into the SimplyPrint ecosystem, our AI Failure Detection helps you spot print issues early, saving you valuable time, filament and money.

## With 3 detection types - and more to come

The SimplyPrint Failure Detection AI currently detects Spaghetti, Warping and Blobbing. Soon, we'll be adding more detection types, such as layer shift, stringing & zits.

## 1-Click AI Failure Detection

Enabling the AI Failure Detection is as easy as clicking a button. The AI will analyze images from your printer's camera while it prints, and if it detects a failure, notify you, and - based on your settings - pause or cancel the print for you automatically, once it's certain your print has failed.

- Enable AI failure detection with 1 click

- If we start to spot an error, we'll **notify you**

- The AI can **pause or cancel** the print automatically, if it's certain it's failed (based on your settings)

## Works with (almost) any 3D printer

SimplyPrint is compatible with over 500 different 3D printers; chances are, that yours is one of them!
Any printer has the ability to become smart, and AI-enabled; no matter if it has a camera built in, or you add an external one!

## An integrated part of the SimplyPrint ecosystem

SimplyPrint is more than just AI failure detection. It's a complete ecosystem for managing your 3D printers with ease. The AI seamlessly integrates with our powerful platform, giving you failure detection, remote control, print history, analytics, and much more - all in one place.

### A part of the printer panel

See the AI's predictions directly from the printer panel in real-time.

### Quick & easy overview

The gauge view shows the detected failures in a gauge, where you can see the detected failures over time.

### Graph view mode

The graph view mode shows the detected failures in a graph, where you can see the detected failures over time.

### Integrated into every aspect: job timeline & statistics

AI detections can be seen in the job timeline, and in the statistics.

## AI your way: customizable settings

You can tune the AI Failure Detection to your liking, by adjusting the detection zones, the sensitivity of the AI model, as well as action & notification settings.

### Detection zones

You can adjust the detection zones to fit your printer's build volume.

### Sensitivity & action settings

You can adjust the sensitivity of the AI model, as well as the actions to take when a failure is detected.

### Settings per action

If you want, you can adjust the action settings for each detection type.

## Multiple printers? Print Farm? School? We've got you!

The SimplyPrint AI is not just designed to work with a single printer; it's designed to work with multiple printers, in a print farm, or in a school setting.
So no matter what kind of setup you're running, there's time, money and filament to be saved!

## Frequently asked questions

### Does the AI model get trained on my prints? (opt-in data sharing; default off)

We know that in this day and age, AI is everywhere, and suddenly all one's data online seem to be contributing to training some AI model. We don't want to be that kind of company; at SimplyPrint we believe in privacy and transparency. Therefore, helping train the AI model (having some of your images "sampled", is **completely opt-in**, and you're asked before we do anything with your data.**
TLDR; No.** If you don't want us to train the AI model on your prints, we won't.

### How does the AI work?

The AI works by analyzing images from your printer's camera. This means you must have a camera that can be used with SimplyPrint, on your printer.
Whether it's a built in camera or an external doesn't matter. The AI model is hosted in the cloud, and the images are sent to the cloud for analysis.
If the AI, based on the image, using computer vision, detects a failure, it will act accordingly.

### Is the SimplyPrint AI free?

Right now, the SimplyPrint AI is in beta. While it's in beta, it's **completely free for all users** for as many printers as you'd like / have.
Once the beta period concludes (we don't yet have a precise date for this), you'll get [x] amount of hours of free AI detection every month (precise number TBD; but probably around ~12 hours).
Once the free hours are used up, you can purchase unlimited AI detection for a small fee per printer per month. A license can be used on any printer, and can be swapped between printers at your choosing,
but only one printer per license can actively have AI detections enabled.

### Does my printer need a camera? / my printer doesn't have a built-in camera

The SimplyPrint AI works by analyzing images from your printer's camera. If your printer doesn't have a built-in camera, you can use a Raspberry Pi camera or a USB webcam.

### Does my printer need to be connected to the internet?

Yes. SimplyPrint is a cloud platform, and the AI model is hosted in the cloud. So in order to use the AI Failure Detection, your printer needs to be connected to SimplyPrint, which requires it to be connected to the internet.
