GrabCAD's SDK gives software vendors APIs to connect Stratasys printers to their systems; its first packages covered the F123 Series, F900 and Fortus 450mc. SimplyPrint could build support on it, but it isn't built yet. ## When to choose the Stratasys F770

Choose it when parts are long rather than exotic: Stratasys calls its build chamber the longest fully heated one on the market, 1,171 mm on the diagonal. For ULTEM, nylon or PC, the F900 or F3300 is the one.

### Pros

- 1,000 x 610 x 610 mm build envelope, up to 1,171 mm on the diagonal.
- Fully heated build chamber and soluble support.
- Material boxes of 3,277 cm3 run up to 140 hours unattended.
- A built-in camera, with status checks from GrabCAD Print on a phone.

### Cons

- Not supported by SimplyPrint yet: support could be built on GrabCAD's SDK.
- Runs Stratasys's closed controller with GrabCAD Print, so there is no OctoPrint or Klipper route.
- Prints ASA and ABS-M30 only, and only Stratasys's own material.
- Needs three-phase power and weighs 658 kg.

### Who it suits

- Schools: Not a good fit. A 658 kg machine on three-phase power with a narrow material range.
- Hobbyists: Not a good fit. Built for industrial large-format parts.
- Businesses: Great fit. Large prototypes and tooling in one piece instead of glued sections.
- Print farms: Can work. GrabCAD Print queues jobs across Stratasys printers, but SimplyPrint cannot manage it today.
