## When to choose the MINGDA Raptor 800

Choose the Raptor 800 for large engineering parts that fit in a 0.8 m cube and you have three-phase 380 V power (up to 7,000 W). The Raptor 450 has a hotter 120 °C chamber in a much smaller volume, and the Raptor 1200 is bigger still. We found no independent review and Mingda lists no price.

### Pros

- An 800 x 800 x 800 mm build volume with an 80 °C heated chamber and bellows cover for warp-prone materials (Mingda).
- A 500 °C dual extruder, 110 °C bed and a material list covering ABS, ASA, PC, PA12-CF, PA6-CF and PPS (Mingda).
- HEPA filtration, door-open detection and AI defect detection (Mingda).
- Servo motors, power-loss recovery, remote control and a 15.6-inch touchscreen (Mingda).
- Runs Klipper, and is expected to work with SimplyPrint through Klipper (not yet confirmed).

### Cons

- Needs three-phase 380 V power and up to 7,000 W (Mingda).
- A machine of 1606 x 1540 x 1598 mm that needs a dedicated space.
- We found no independent review and Mingda lists no price.
- SimplyPrint compatibility is expected rather than confirmed, and no camera is listed.

### Who it suits

- Schools: Not a good fit. An industrial three-phase machine, too big and hot for a classroom.
- Hobbyists: Not a good fit. The size, power and price class are beyond hobby use.
- Businesses: Can work. Large heated-chamber engineering parts with a maker-listed 80 °C chamber, but untested by reviewers.
- Print farms: Not a good fit. Each unit is huge and needs industrial power, so it does not suit a fleet of identical machines.
