### What works with SimplyPrint

Connected through Klipper (Moonraker), SimplyPrint supports most of what it offers on the InfiMech TX: the camera and AI failure detection, remote printing, skipping objects, temperature and movement control and AutoPrint. Not yet in SimplyPrint through Klipper (Moonraker): download the file before the print starts.

## What slicer to use for the InfiMech TX

None of the slicers in SimplyPrint's cloud has a ready-made profile for the InfiMech TX, but it takes standard G-code: start from a similar printer's profile and set the bed size, height and nozzle to match.

- [PrusaSlicer](https://simplyprint.io/features/slicer/prusaslicer): No profile for the InfiMech TX · Runs in the SimplyPrint cloud
- [OrcaSlicer](https://simplyprint.io/features/slicer/orcaslicer): No profile for the InfiMech TX · Runs in the SimplyPrint cloud

We only list slicers you can use in the SimplyPrint cloud, so there may be others for the InfiMech TX.

## The app for the InfiMech TX

SimplyPrint works as the InfiMech TX's app: on your phone and in any browser, with a slicer in the cloud.

- An app for iPhone and Android, the same in any browser, and a slicer in the cloud.
- More than monitoring: a print queue, AI failure detection, AutoPrint and accounts for a team.
- Printers from many brands in one place, side by side.
- Hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, under the GDPR.

## Automate the InfiMech TX

**Enclosed printers push their prints out.** The InfiMech TX's bed only moves up and down inside its enclosure, so instead of swapping plates, a push-off routine lets the toolhead push the cooled print off the plate and out through its front door, which has to be open while it runs. Some printers won't print with the door open (the Prusa CORE One has a door sensor), so check yours first.

### Ways to automate it

- [Push prints off with the toolhead](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint/push-off): On a CoreXY printer, a G-code routine can push the cooled print off the front of the plate before the next job starts.
- [Your own ejection G-code](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint/custom): Write the routine that clears your plate, and AutoPrint runs it after every print.
- [A robot arm, or anything with an API](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint/api): Tell SimplyPrint the plate is clear through the API or a webhook, from a robot arm or your own system.
- [Clear it by hand, keep the queue](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint/manual-mode): AutoPrint waits for you to mark the plate clear, then starts the next job.

[How AutoPrint works](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint). AutoPrint comes with the Pro plan and up.

## What filament can the InfiMech TX print?

Filament compatibility for the InfiMech TX: the materials it can handle, judged from its hotend, bed, chamber and enclosure.

| Filament | Suitability | Notes |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| PLA | Great | The easiest filament to print. Works on almost any printer; a heated bed helps adhesion but is not required. |
| PETG | Great | Comfortably in range (PETG likes a ~230-250C hotend and a ~70-85C bed). |
| TPU & flexibles | Great | The direct-drive extruder feeds flexible filament well. Print slowly for clean results. |
| ABS & ASA | Great | Enclosed, with a hot enough hotend and bed: ABS and ASA print well. |
| Nylon (PA) | Good | Doable with care - dry the filament thoroughly, and an enclosure helps a lot. |
| Polycarbonate (PC) | Good | In range for PC. Dry the filament, print slowly, and use an enclosure for the best results. |
| Carbon-fiber & glass-filled | With care | Possible if you fit a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle - the abrasive fibers quickly wear a stock brass nozzle. |

## What reviewers say about the InfiMech TX

- [INFIMECH TX: A Cheap and Good Alternative to BambuLab X1C or P1S for $329](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eebpHHz1nns) (Aurora Tech, August 7, 2024): In-depth test of the enclosed CoreXY Klipper printer: fast, accurate (cleared his 0.05 mm tolerance test) and prints PLA through nylon carbon fibre with a 120 C bed at this price. Cons: auto Z offset set too low, conservative slicer profiles, awkward rear filament loading, small free eMMC and an outdated firmware update method.
