## What filament can the FibreSeek FibreSeeker 3 print?

Filament compatibility for the FibreSeek FibreSeeker 3: the materials FibreSeek lists for it.

| Filament | Suitability | Notes |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| PLA | Great | On the maker's list of materials for this printer. |
| PETG | Great | On the maker's list of materials for this printer. |
| TPU & flexibles | With care | Possible, but a Bowden extruder makes flexibles harder - print slowly and prefer firmer (higher-shore) TPU. |
| ABS & ASA | Great | Enclosed, with a hot enough hotend and bed: ABS and ASA print well. |
| Nylon (PA) | Great | On the maker's list of materials for this printer. |
| Polycarbonate (PC) | Great | On the maker's list of materials for this printer. |
| Carbon-fiber & glass-filled | Great | On the maker's list of materials for this printer. |

## What reviewers say about the FibreSeek FibreSeeker 3

- [The FibreSeeker 3 brings Continuous Fiber Printing to Consumers!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQp7yz6fzH0) (CNC Kitchen, November 29, 2025): Sponsored by FibreSeek (disclosed). Presents the Klipper-based 300x300x245 mm printer with heated chamber, dual hotends and 1K continuous carbon tow co-extrusion, and leaves it to viewers whether it is a game changer or a gimmick. Summary from the video description: no captions were available to check his verdict.

## When to choose the FibreSeek FibreSeeker 3

Choose the FibreSeeker 3 if the goal is strong, lightweight functional parts such as tooling, jigs and brackets: FibreSeek claims a tensile strength up to 900 MPa for fibre parts. It is a specialist machine from a young maker, it uses FibreSeek's own Rocket slicer and X-CCF filament, and CNC Kitchen's video on it was sponsored and left the verdict to viewers. For ordinary engineering filaments in a heated chamber, the Qidi Plus5 costs less; for continuous fibre you would otherwise look at industrial machines.

### Pros

- Co-extrudes continuous carbon fibre into plastic parts, which FibreSeek says gives strengths up to 900 MPa, about twice 6061 aluminium (FibreSeek).
- An enclosed, actively heated chamber at 65 degrees C and a 350 degrees C hotend for PC, nylon and composites (FibreSeek).
- A 300 x 300 x 245 mm volume, dual hotends and a Klipper base (CNC Kitchen).
- Wi-Fi and USB, with an AI slicer that routes the fibre (FibreSeek).

### Cons

- A specialist machine: fibre printing needs FibreSeek's own slicer and consumables, so running costs and lock-in are higher than a general printer (FibreSeek).
- No independent verdict yet: the one review we hold is sponsored and gives no conclusion (CNC Kitchen).
- We have not confirmed how it connects to SimplyPrint; Klipper and OctoPrint are both unknown, so check before buying for a fleet.
- A hot chamber and fibre cutter are not classroom-friendly.

### Who it suits

- Schools: Not a good fit. A specialist, hot, complex printer with unconfirmed SimplyPrint support is the wrong tool for a classroom.
- Hobbyists: Can work. Fascinating for makers who want strong parts, but costly and specialised.
- Businesses: Good fit. Metal-class strength in functional parts and tooling, from a heated, enclosed chamber, though unproven and with its own slicer.
- Print farms: Not a good fit. A specialist machine with proprietary consumables and no confirmed SimplyPrint route.
