## Connect the Elyarchi Alcheman to SimplyPrint

| Way of connecting | Status | What you need | Notes |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| SimplyPrint | Compatible | | Through Klipper (Moonraker) |
| Klipper (Moonraker) | Compatible | Nothing extra: the printer runs Klipper as it ships | Ships Klipper with a Mainsail-style web UI (the manual edits crowsnest.conf and adds cameras through it, and connects OrcaSlicer by IP); Elyarchi is upstreaming its config to Klipper. ([Source](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0691/5227/6633/files/Alcheman_User_Manual_V2.25.pdf)) |
| OctoPrint (Directly, over USB) | Not compatible | | Ships Klipper; OctoPrint only on top of it. ([Source](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0691/5227/6633/files/Alcheman_User_Manual_V2.25.pdf)); Ships with Klipper: OctoPrint only runs on top of it, through the OctoKlipper plugin |

### What works with SimplyPrint

Connected through Klipper (Moonraker), SimplyPrint supports most of what it offers on the Elyarchi Alcheman: the camera and AI failure detection, remote printing, skipping objects, temperature and movement control and AutoPrint. Not yet in SimplyPrint through Klipper (Moonraker): download the file before the print starts.

## What slicer to use for the Elyarchi Alcheman

None of the slicers in SimplyPrint's cloud has a ready-made profile for the Elyarchi Alcheman, but it takes standard G-code: start from a similar printer's profile and set the bed size, height and nozzle to match.

- [PrusaSlicer](https://simplyprint.io/features/slicer/prusaslicer): No profile for the Elyarchi Alcheman · Runs in the SimplyPrint cloud
- [OrcaSlicer](https://simplyprint.io/features/slicer/orcaslicer): No profile for the Elyarchi Alcheman · Runs in the SimplyPrint cloud

## The app for the Elyarchi Alcheman

SimplyPrint works as the Elyarchi Alcheman's app: on your phone and in any browser, with a slicer in the cloud.

- An app for iPhone and Android, the same in any browser, and a slicer in the cloud.
- More than monitoring: a print queue, AI failure detection, AutoPrint and accounts for a team.
- Printers from many brands in one place, side by side.
- Hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, under the GDPR.

## Automate the Elyarchi Alcheman

**Enclosed printers push their prints out.** The Elyarchi Alcheman's bed only moves up and down inside its enclosure, so instead of swapping plates, a push-off routine lets the toolhead push the cooled print off the plate and out through its front door, which has to be open while it runs. Some printers won't print with the door open (the Prusa CORE One has a door sensor), so check yours first.

### Ways to automate it

- [Push prints off with the toolhead](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint/push-off): On a CoreXY printer, a G-code routine can push the cooled print off the front of the plate before the next job starts.
- [Your own ejection G-code](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint/custom): Write the routine that clears your plate, and AutoPrint runs it after every print.
- [A robot arm, or anything with an API](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint/api): Tell SimplyPrint the plate is clear through the API or a webhook, from a robot arm or your own system.
- [Clear it by hand, keep the queue](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint/manual-mode): AutoPrint waits for you to mark the plate clear, then starts the next job.

[How AutoPrint works](https://simplyprint.io/features/autoprint). AutoPrint comes with the Pro plan and up.

## When to choose the Elyarchi Alcheman

Choose the Alcheman if you need high-temperature materials: Elyarchi's page lists PEEK, PPS and PEI, plus PC, PA and ABS, at $999.99 on pre-order. It is from a young brand, and we found no independent review. For mainstream engineering filaments with a larger community, the Qidi Plus5 or Bambu Lab H2S is the safer pick; if you only print PLA and PETG, a cheaper printer does the job.

### Pros

- A 450 degrees C all-metal hotend and a 130 degrees C bed for PEEK, PPS and PEI (Elyarchi).
- An enclosed chamber with temperature control up to 90 degrees C, and particulate filtration (Elyarchi).
- A 300 x 290 x 280 mm volume and up to 500 mm/s, with auto-levelling and vibration compensation (Elyarchi).
- Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB, and it works with SimplyPrint through Klipper, compatible.
- A 12-month limited warranty and a free shipping offer (Elyarchi).

### Cons

- A pre-order from a young brand, with no independent review found.
- A 450 degrees C hotend and 90 degrees C chamber mean hot surfaces and demanding upkeep, which suits experienced users more than students.
- Only a live-view camera accessory is listed, so remote watching needs an extra purchase (Elyarchi).
- The Client route to SimplyPrint is not listed in our facts; Klipper is the route.

### Who it suits

- Schools: Not a good fit. Extreme temperatures and a young, unreviewed product are too much for a classroom, though SimplyPrint could still queue prints.
- Hobbyists: Can work. Rare high-temperature capability for the price, but only for those who need PEEK-class materials.
- Businesses: Good fit. High-temperature and engineering materials in a heated, filtered chamber, with a Klipper route to SimplyPrint, though from an unproven maker.
- Print farms: Can work. Klipper and Ethernet help remote control, but new hardware, a camera add-on and no plate-clearing kit in our sources.
