This update has brought some much-needed improved stability to the file system framework for us devs, and an improved experience for you as a user!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We fixed things like the \"grid view\" had files jumpin' around when a file was selected, but most importantly, we added the ability to <strong>add multiple items to the print queue with 1 click!<\/strong> As requested via our suggestion box; <a href=\"https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/97\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/97<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the print queue, it's now also possible to add multiple items to the queue at once, and <strong>apply tags &amp; select amount <em>before<\/em> adding the items to the queue!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find a full list of changes and improvements to the file system and queue, can be found in the changelog in the bottom of the blog post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"print-queue-groups-printer-model-selection\">Print queue groups &amp; printer model selection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the print queue, it's not possible to select specific printers, printer groups, and \/ or printer models, for the <em>entire<\/em> print queue group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means all items in the given group will \"inherit\" this selection, and only be printable on selected printers\/groups\/models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"947\" height=\"652\" src=\"https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-720\" style=\"width:604px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-2.png 947w, https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-2-300x207.png 300w, https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-2-768x529.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 947px) 100vw, 947px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With this change, it's now also possible to select <strong>printer models<\/strong> when selecting which printers a queue item or queue group is for!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means you could easily create a \"Bambu Lab\" group, and select your Bambu Lab printers, and an \"Others\" group for non-Bambu Lab printers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"451\" src=\"https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-3-1024x451.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-721\" srcset=\"https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-3-1024x451.png 1024w, https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-3-300x132.png 300w, https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-3-768x338.png 768w, https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-3.png 1214w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:65px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"\u2728-new-feature-multi-auto-print-cycle-clear\"><strong>\u2728<\/strong> <strong>New feature: Multi-AutoPrint-cycle-clear<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It's now possible to clear all your printer's AutoPrint cycles at once, via the new \"Clear cycles\" button!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"796\" height=\"199\" src=\"https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-707\" style=\"width:594px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image.png 796w, https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-300x75.png 300w, https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-768x192.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 796px) 100vw, 796px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So for those of you with many AutoPrint'ing printers; you no longer have to go to every single printer and clear them one by one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to community member Eduard for the <a href=\"https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/106\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">suggestion (#106)<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"full-changelog\">Full changelog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u2728 Multi-queuing:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It's now possible to queue multiple files at the same time. Either via the \"Your files\" tab, by selecting multiple files, or via the \"Print queue\" tab (<a href=\"https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/97\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/97<\/a>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This brings up a reworked popup, allowing you to define how many of each item you wish to queue and assigning tags!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This reworked popup now also shows when adding items by dragging &amp; dropping or otherwise adding files via the \"Print queue\" page. If you're <em>not<\/em> a fan of this change, because you may always just print each file once and never want to assign tags during the adding-flow, you can <strong>disable this<\/strong> via the Settings &gt; General &gt; Print queue &gt; \"Show dialogue on print queue add\" setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\ud83d\udcc1<\/strong> <strong>File system update:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Added support for \"Command\" (or Cmd, <strong>\u2318<\/strong>) button on Mac, to select multiple files <em>(like holding \"CTRL\" always has)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved file system grid view on select of file(s)\/folder(s), to make elements not change places and move around<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved UI for items being selected, and improved responsiveness on mobile<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added \"Creation date\" sorting &amp; info for list view<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udc1b fixed sorting in list-view-mode not always saving for next time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udc1b fixed bug resulting in URLs for specific folders, not working if the folder had multiple words \/ spaces in the folder name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the file selector, which pops up when you click \"Start print\", \"Add to queue\", \"Import file to slicer\", it's now possible to set tags for files, and changing the tags or active printer material updates the Gcode Analysis and cost estimation in real-time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Files that are technically unselectable in the current context <em>(e.g. printable-\/Gcode-files when importing to the slicer)<\/em>, are now slightly faded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Drag &amp; drop improvements:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Greatly improved the drag &amp; dropping of new files from your device, as well as moving files and folders in the SimplyPrint file system by drag &amp; drop\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Both UI, which is now much more clear &amp; less buggy, as well as performance and UX<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the site-wide drag n' drop of files support, SimplyPrint can now handle <strong>dropping multiple files from your PC, onto anywhere in SimplyPrint<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u2728 Multi-AutoPrint-cycle-clear:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/106\">https:\/\/suggesti<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/106\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">o<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/106\">ns.simplyprint.io\/106<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u2728<\/strong> <strong>Printer selection for print queue groups:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/175\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/175<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u2728<\/strong> <strong>Printer model selection for print queue items &amp; groups:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/174\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/suggestions.simplyprint.io\/174<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Printer images now show in the \"Compact\" and \"List\" view modes on the \"Printers\" page\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This should make it easier to select the right printers at a glance, in printer selection, as here we use the \"Compact\" view.
