We have another update for you;&nbsp;<strong>brand new filament page + spool add tool! <\/strong>So <strong>if you haven't tried our filament system yet; now is the time!<\/strong> It's now easier than ever, let's dive in to the changes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>New filament page<\/strong><br>The <a href=\"https:\/\/simplyprint.io\/panel\/filament\">filament panel tab<\/a> was one of the oldest part of the platform, and was in need of a rework - a rework that is now live! This includes;<br>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Better sorting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search bar to search for filament<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sort by brand &amp; type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recycle bin for all the as-good-as-empty spools<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New spool add flow \/ creator<\/strong><br>We have&nbsp;<em>completely reworked<\/em> the \"Add filament\" flow! Changes include;<br>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can now select the brand from a dropdown<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have added over&nbsp;<strong>300<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>spool presets!<\/strong> So if you select a brand, you might notice you'll be able to pick the spool &amp; color as well; we can now&nbsp;<strong>auto fill&nbsp;<em>all<\/em> the details!<\/strong> - this is still only for a select few filaments, it takes&nbsp;<em>ages<\/em> to add it, we're trying to work with the different brands and have them send us their filament data - let us know if your favorite brand is missing, and send them an email saying they should contact us!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specify the&nbsp;<strong>cost<\/strong> of the spool - this will allow us to very soon give you a price estimate on your prints!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 quick spool size presets&nbsp;<em>(you can change the 3 sizes to your most used!)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A few new colors added in the default color list<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New filament settings<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard currency setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Default filament width\/thickness setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\"Trash threshold\"; when a spool should end up in the bin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spool weight presets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Not really a setting, but overview over all the filament brands we've added, and all their spools<br><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>General bugfixes<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fixed a few UI-related bugs in Safari&nbsp;<em>(logo on new frontpage, images in file selector &amp; printers in multiprint)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed print job page bug <em>(resulting in it not loading)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed a few performance issue bugs that resulted in a few minutes of downtime on October 20&nbsp;<em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/status.simplyprint.io\/history\">https:\/\/status.simplyprint.io\/history<\/a><\/em><em>)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed some minor dark mode issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slicer\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fixed nozzle diameter setting not working&nbsp;<em>(defaulted to 0.4 at all times)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed support not being generated in some cases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The filament updates have been implemented in the app, and we're just awaiting its release - should be out within 2 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coming soon;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New \"change filament\" flow&nbsp;<em>(complete rework)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A lot of exciting stuff with QR codes, NFC &amp; barcodes in our app \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Print price calculator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>And a much more!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, let us know if you find any bugs or have suggestions!<br>- The SimplyPrint team<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey SimplyPrinters!
